wow - wake me up I must be dreaming

Please help me to wake up from this crazy dream - last week I had a nice looking safe team, surely I must be dreaming with some of my lala selections:

>Ablett to Danger 
>Longer to Smith
>Moloney down to Lucas
>Goodes (on the bench)
>Heath to Armstrong
>Kennedy up to Zorko

I like to think I am a fairly measred coach - I know the rules and have performed well in the past - this must be a bad dream...... hmm I dont think 2 trades a week can save me now!

Some of those are vaguely understandable given circumstances of cash needs etc.

But Goodes on the bench?? How do you come to a howler like that!

Moloney ==>> Lucas is understandable

I made the same decision based on the facts they have had similar scores in the NAB Cup and Lucas was cheaper.

In my case it's reverse able because I still have the cash - but I think I may stick with Lucas for another week.

Lucas' 19 touches is good going but it's the 16 handballs that killed his scores. Given Carlton's new game plan of kicking long - this handball could be panic under pressure.

Goodes, Kennedy and Karnezis also had similar NAB successes.

When viewed individually they are reasonable trades I followed suit with Lucas (sucked in I reckon...). Hindsight is  wonderful thing but also dangerous if you're assuming it will predict the future. Stick with your guns (but put Goodes on the field!) and work on a way to get Ablett in the old fashioned manner.

Back to being measured I reckon.

I'm in the same boast but also added Robbo and Lids as late changes, basically a full house of first up DT-disasters but looked at my team and decided to keep the faith. Still got Pendles to right things.

apart from Goodes on the bench which isnt too bad, as we didnt know what to expect.. it just unlucky EXCEPT.
rookie error to trade Ablett down to Dangerfield, rookie error.

but just unlucky trades, due to those players you bought in were hugely hyped up

Thanks for the support  ;)  I know I am not alone and many have it worse!

Am thinking this week Danger to Molony smith to Kruzer / or Armstrong to Pearce.

I know Danger will come good but simple fact is Molony will go up Danger will go down in price.

Watts is my biggest mistake, I thought it had loose roaming half back written all over it, instead it had useless pathetic waste of time and money
