A final decision to be made up forward...Dwyer or Rampe (similar priced rookie)

Def: Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Goodes, Stevenson, Pittard (Terlich, Brown)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Cotchin, Murphy, Fyfe, Wines, O'Meara, Viney (Kommer, Crouch)
Ruck: Roughead, Mumford (Blicavs, Daw)
For: Franklin, Cox, Rockliff, Martin, Kennedy, Macaffer (Neade, Dwyer)
$3800

Dwyer - obvious concerns over his JS with the likes of Thomas and Krakouer to come back into the side. Risky but if he can make an impact like Elliott and Williams did last season he may play enough games to fatten up in time for trading.
Rampe is a little unknown (dont want him to be like Harry Cunningham of 2012) but what I've been hearing has been positive. Longmire has stated that he his very happy with how the mature age rookie is tracking and could fill the position of the injured Alex Smith. If he can secure himself in defence he will play enough games to warrant a price rise.

Other Alternatives:

1. Pittard - Heath & Daw - Currie which would give me enough $$$ for a rookie at $115,900 if there is a better one around (originally had Lee)

2. Wines - Mitchell which is risky but would give me more $$$ to play with but limited options even at this price range...OR

3. Rockliff - Karnezis & Dwyer - Varcoe. This also leaves me with enough money to switch Mumford - McEvoy to finalise an uncertain ruck option.

I'm out of answers  :-\ Any of these alternatives standing out as winners? Comments would be greatly appreciated!

Any thoughts PLEASE!

This may make your decision a little easier, Rampe can only be picked in the midfield

:-[ Than you for spotting that for me...oh dear! Question begs then...

DWYER for F8 or...

1. Pittard - HEATH and Daw - CURRIE giving me enough $$$ for LEE at $115,900 (roll the dice on him getting a game soon though))

2. Rockliff - KARNEZIS & Dwyer - VARCOE - weakens the forward line a little but gives me players with guaranteed JS. I will also have $$$ to go Mumford - MCEVOY to round out the rucks.

Rocky to varcoe & karnessis gives you 6 forwards. They'll make money don't see much js for dwyer as kracker is in the vfl  this week and barring injury will be back next.

My thoughts exactly. But I'm having trouble parting with Rockliff especially for Karnezis as there is a lot of hype over this bloke and besides a decent pre-season what else has he done? Rockliff could explode this year. Varcoe has been disappointing so far this pre-season and this is coming from a Geelong supporter. He is the best though at that price bracket.

With 30 trades is it better to just have Dwyer and fix it later with a rookie on the bubble, or have two mid priced players that if they fail will cost me more trades to rectify?
