I want to have the 3 premo 3 rookie backs structure but I didn't get on Luke brown last week because I thought vlaustin would have been names. Now my rookies are goodes pittard Stevenson Heath and terlich. Is it worth carrying terlich to chases this structure. All it will probably mean is that I would have to burn a trade to brown next week if terlich isn't named.

Or should I downgrade one of my premo mids to a rookie and upgrade terlich to a premo. Thoughts?????

felsty

im carrying him and i would say a few blokes will..

was drafted as a mature aged recruit to come in straight away, i dont think he will last too long on the side lines

Jroo

He was named as an emergency so he isn't far off getting a game for the Dees.
I'll be keeping him as he will get games soon

me

yeah he'll come in round 2 after dees get pantsed by the mighty port adelaide powah

wouldn't change your structure agree with the guys above, and if not named round 3 and brown has another solid game you can always make the sideways trade then.

its carry terlich or docherty for me and i think terlich is a safer bet, tho docherty will be a gun (one day).

KoopKicka

Ive gone Terlich to Heath, carrying Frost due to funds.

Have done also, recon Heath will play most games, they rate him I hear, skillful player, but is a defencive stopper so..

fertalong

I'm carrying him at D8. He's not going to be fielded any time soon for me, and i think he'll get a game soon enough. There are really no better options with a 3 premo back line.

This is DT, take anyone who plays, trade the poorer performer rooks too the better performers on the bubble, oir is that too simple?

Ricochet

Yeh gotta start with guys that are playing. Terlich could be 2013's Couch

May be too simple mate. What happens if crouch, vlastuin and terlich start round 2? You can only trade 2 on the bubble.

see man i had the same thought lolz,
terlich or frost, the xtra cash wouldnt be so bad......????

last desision :)

found this on the demons BF board:

- Barring injury I don't like Terlich's job security. He needs to work on his defensive side and not get exposed so easily. He was a forward until last year, still learning his craft.
- not jones who is holding out terlich...Dan Nicholson is holding Terlich out. Matt Jones will play this weekend, different roles.

thoughts?

I remember this mantra being chanted for Couch all of last year.
I fell for it and carried him for the first 3 rounds.

Mind you, that was back in the days of fewer trades. With 44 trades? Screw it, go for it. Your D8 spot is only for making cash, so you have until week 3 to bring in a better rookie if he doesn't play.

For those thinking of downgrading to Frost for cash, keep in mind if Terlich plays you'll want to bring him in... probably for Frost.. and if you've spent that extra cash you won't be able to without a reshuffle.
