Hey guys, I'm sure I'm not the only one who had the "hard nut" in their team last night.
I would like to not have any more headaches this season so considering my options for a replacement.

I currently have $150k in the bank (for this kind of scenario)

I'm leaning towards Bartel (especially with Stevie J out for the near future)
Though if JJK can play like he did last week the extra cash could give me 2 premo rucks and an Armstrong type in the DEF to steady things up a bit back there.

Currently have the 3 Premo DEF and Cox and (Longer/Leuy) in the rucks.
FWD's are Zorko, Rocky, Robbo, Martin, Karny, Caff (Neade, Dwyer)

I've got him. shower happens. I'm going for league wins so I will see how he goes next week. If he doesn't play or he scores awful, I'm considering a straight swap to Matthew Wright depending on whether he can back up his rd 1 game. I had Wright in originally but I got scared because he was tagging Murphy in the nab cup  :o

If he is named I don't think I'll trade him TBH.

Martin was far from spectacular and Wright seems to knee jerky. Thomas hada good hit out in the VFL. But too risky to go him straight up.

Best thing about him is if he is injured he can still play, bar last night.

I'm going to keep don't like many of the other options in the forwards.

I also only just realized that his 21 will only be factored in ONE price change, meaning if he does alright the next two weeks, he won't lose too much money...

With 44 trades, we can easily straight swap him to someone and then get him back in straight away when he's cheaper.

thinking if i do trade him it will be to wright, started most bounces in the square so should improve from last year where he started the season predominately small fwd, and while he plays defensive mid he isnt a hard tag ever.

Kennedy tempting for cash if it is needed elsewhere (ie a def mid pricer smashes it and do a downgrade and upgrade)

His score will be only in one price change so I would wait and see how he goes next week. If he goes 110+ the price change might be not bad. If he goes 80ish then drop him.

he will come good next week, i would keep him for his next game which gives you a look at daisy and a second look at the others then make the trade.

think daisy will be super tho, 28 touches in the practice match.

franklin has to be the best on your list tho if you can afford him.

Good point Rico, I was already going to give him until after round 2, but if he scores sub-80, he'll bleed a fair bit of cash. :-\

There is still 6 games to play and who knows what will happen in them so its way too early to decide trades for round 2.

Best to hold him if named next week as it too early in season to start playing the side trade for money game.

However if there is an absolute must have bolter who presents then maybe, but only if you have a spare trade.

I'm keeping for now and my other failure in dangerfield, you picked them for a reason.

I think Dale Thomas could make an extremely unique forward and in previous years he's demonstrated he can reach an 100+ average

Unless you can afford Franklin that is. But getting him this early may result in a big cash drop
