Dwyer or Rampe?

Don't know a lot about either besides...

Dwyer is a mature aged player that was named on the half forward flank for the 2012 VFL Team of the year. Seems to know how to find the ball and could make an moat straight away.

Rampe 22 year old looking to fill Alex Johnson's position across half back.

Both risky but for the price who is looking at more game time and JS?

Glad someone else is having some troubles deciding...I'm almost leaning towards Rampe due to Dwyers JS with the magpie players set to return. I would think Rampe will get the vest though and then depending on what impact he makes will decde his fate. I guess playing GWS could mean a 'star' could be subbed out, but being round 1you would think big name players would want match fitness...  :-\

Dwyer is f/m so that could be useful but reckon when Ball and Thomas come back he'll be gone.

Rampe seems to be in a battle with Armstrong for Johnson's spot. If he wins the fight could be there for a while.

Cheers for the thoughts guys, i have similar worries.

I feel Dwyer will be out of the team soon, while Rampe is sub worthy material (although he could avoid the vest till Smith and Mattner are at full match fitness).

It is a strong back line to break into but Armstrong is the weak link here.

Thinking Dwyer, could also use him as a loophole candidate if he is dropped.

One thing to maybe consider about these two is that Sydney have a very soft start to the year, this might see the older bodies rested to ensure they make it through the 'long' season, therefore you might see Rampe get a little more game time early on. He is mature age, bigger body, this plays into his favour. Dwyer may find it hard to get a regular gig in the Pies side. Just something to think about if you are looking at these two.
