None of them named. Chaplin the only new player from either team

Petterd was injured, that's why he missed out and Knights wasn't 100% ready as he had a interrupted pre season.

In another thread the one thing I said holding Petterd back is his body and he broke down again. Not looking at him now unless it is a downgrade and he is on the bubble. To risky.

Richmond guys chances of Petterd breaking into the side soon? If its only soreness it could be just a cautious approach.. Back round 2? Would anyone think of keeping him?

From what I've been told by the Richmond boys is he is in the best 22 and was in the side until this soreness flared up

More reason for him to be a sub candidate and who does he replace? Richmond look tall on the bench but then you realise Newman and Edwards are named at CHF and CHB

If it were up to me Petterd, Vlastuin and knights would all be in for McGuanne, Jackson, and Batchelor

I think he was battling groin soreness for a while at the Dees as well. The man is a walking injury. It is unfortunate because he actually has ability

I actually did not notice McGuanes name. He is a spud of the highest order. Jacksons disposal is terrible as well.

All useless mate. Batchelor is no better, he's a slack defender and turns it over a lot. Also see him out on the piss and smoking during the season the night before games when he was injured. Not good enough

Don't stress I'm sure there will be one or two players named that no one thought of , plus you have to have one non player to use the captains loophole and at worst we may have to downgrade player .

Hardwick looked to free him up a fair bit last year and he was playing a role similar to Chris Newmans from seasons past. I had Newman in my team last year and it would frustrate the crap out of me because Batchelor was getting a lot of the cheap ball in the back half when his disposal was not the best. Knights is a good half forward so hopefully he pushes McGuane out, Petterd would be the obvious switch for Batchelor. These guys would be nothing but depth players in a team looking to make the 8 (McGuane should just play for Coburg permanently).

Also as a Carlton supporter I am calling it now, Richmond break the drought tomorrow night. I can think of two head scratching omissions for the Blues.

Also if Carlton lose this they will go 0-4, possibly 0-5 to start the year.

Carlton would not want  many supporters like yourself very negative views get behind them
