With Rowe, blicavs and Currie all likely to play early.

Is anyone preparing to carry Leuy at r4 until he plays with the above rookies as cover?

I will be putting him on the bench as I missed Josh Kennedy. Will sideways to Kennedy and move Cox to rucks after round 2 and before price changes, if Berger still isn't playing or struggled in his round 2 game.

Berger trained strongly this week but will probably be given a full game in twos for match fitness.  I would expect him back if he pulls up ok next week .  If rookies are playing may be worth benching him for a week or 2 or select a ruck between 300/400k. Smith would be a sound choice.

Why not wait until he is on the bubble - if he ever gets there?

Leaving him on the bench and hopefully one of Rowe or Currie are named and not vested. I reckon Rowe will have something to prove and play a big debut game for the Blues. Either of those guys could pull a similar score to a Berger coming back from a lengthy lay off. Keeping him because there is money to be made there.

I've decided to do this, thanks. Will ride Zac Smith till Luey is about to pop.
