ideally would like JPK over Cotch and Bartel over Martin but cant find the cash.

So... which combo should I go with?

cheers for thoughtful comments!

Colliwobblers

JPK has to be a SC lock. martin cannot go backwards. martin may not be a keeper but he should not go backwards either.

the upside of this pick is JPK is still getting better and martin has so much more ability and potential than he has shown.

Colliwoblers, If you were going for league win as your priority which doesnt make JPK's easy early draw as important, would you still take JPK and Martin? Just thinking that Bartel will some more mid time now that SJ is gone for a month

Colliwobblers

i think jpk is better than cotchin and i also think martin can be as good or bettr than bartel but for now would say bartel clearly better than martin.

still as you say only a few weeks of easy swans draw = only a few weeks of no stevie J.....

cotchin could handle a tag or not?  JPK can handle a tag. after dangers effort i am gun shy would not risk cotchin or any other emerging mid until they can prove themselves a little further?

think JPK is on a level with watson and pendles and J Selwood, proven SC performers. that's all. my vote is for safety but yeah bartel over martin for the same "safe" reason...

but you cant have both JPK and Bartel so i had to pick one :)

Sabretooth Tigers

JPK and Martin.  As stated by Colliwobblers Kennedy can handle a tag, and then again he also tends to go for the kill against the lower teams. Martin however should be without a tag for the start of this season with Cotch and Deledio copping them. With the preseason that Martin has had plus the Choco factor I really believe that this year he will make up for last years ordinary form, by his standards. I have JPK, Bartel and Martin. All the best.

JPK is likely to be top half dozen by year's end so get on if you can.
