Which is the better option for the rucks?

in SC Goldy, as long as he can cement his spot, which surely he will, currie giving him some curry tho...

Goldy is a risk given Currie's form, and Brad Scott saying they won't play together though the year, but you would have to say Goldy would probably still have the #1 spot.

Kruezer as much a risk as Goldstein, with Warnock's place in Carlton's team still unclear.

Whether Warnock is in the team or not shouldn't affect Kruezer's spot, the fight will be between Warnock and Hampson.

I see Kreuzer more definitely number one at his club than Goldy is.

Yeah I'm not saying Kruezer will lose his spot. I'm saying Kruezer will lose a significant amount of ruck time (and points) if Warnock plays because Warnock can't play forward very well. Kruezer isn't that flash up forward either but better than Warnock.

Colliwobblers

warnock should be ruck #1 with kruezer playing fwd nad pinch hitting in the ruck.

but maybe the rule changes don't help warnocks, or any genuine tap ruckmans chances...

I dont think they can play Hampson/warnock/kruezer at the same time.

I reckon Warnock misses out and Kruzer becomes number 1.

Waite still to come back, so another mobile tall to come in.

Carlton has to make a call here, they have spent the last 2 years
mucking around, Kruzer is an average forward at best, but has the mobility
and tank to impact areound the ground.

Warnock loses?

Colliwobblers

hampson a better fwd than warnock so i agree warnock loses. but still think warnock is a better ruck than kruze and hampson put together.

still the modern game demands flexability and athleticism which all favours kruze

I like warnock as a ruck, but he can offer nothing else really. yup kruzer can kill it around the ground with
his mobility. He went +15 last year, reckon he can average 105 this year, will break out, as long as he
isnt stuck up forward for lenghty periods.

Mick will make a decision, only other factors will be injuries, Hampson/Waite etc.

Reckon Warnock could be elsewhere next year.

Kinda wish I got griffin

Had Griffin 2011 for an average of 101. While he was great, it was a headache. You just don't if you should sell him because 211 might breakdown the week he comes back (which he did in 2011).

Then i had to buy some1 who was going to kill it for the rest of the season ... and afford him. Which meant 2 trades to free up that extra 30k.

Set and Forget IMO.

Brad Scott has said time and time again the preseason is just for testing out new new setups.  They still consider Goldy an All-Australian ruckman and Currie a #1 backup.  Daw may get games as a forward but won't get a huge chunk of the rucking time.

Kruez has looked great this pre-season but is unproven and injury prone.
