Who should replace Stevie J?

Roughead
Bartel
Other (name below)

Need a replacement for SJ........already have Cox, Rocky and Zorko and can't afford buddy

Mat0369

I am tossing up both those options as well. Looking at Bartel for Stevie J at the moment. I have been hit with injuries already. Was willing to take the 0 round 1 but he is expected out a month. No point having that much cash on the bench

yorgis

won't sj be back in time for when  league matches begin in rnd 3 . only supposed to

be a clean up job

Roughead...easily IMO. Will be one of the top fwds.
Bartel might be.
Bartel has been on the points slide for a number of seasons now. Playing as a utility/ small tall doesn't instill the same level of confidence in me as Roughy does.

They said out for  a month. So he will miss this round and the next 3 I am assuming. Then it might take him a couple of games to get into it. Either way it hurts. But what hurts more is I have him in my draft team

GoLions

This would mean more mid time for Bartel, correct? If so, then Bartel would be my first option.

That's a good point. Don't know if it guarantees it but see the logic in it...perhaps some cat supporters could comment based on Bartel's various roles last year and how present team injuries compare to 2012.

I don't think Geelong have officially said how long he will be out for...hopefully they will so :)

Agreed, however with max bailey coming back in and hale in the mix too, i would say roughead would be playing more as a forward and not getting the extra points as a ruck

I would hope so :)

Also, who could the possible others be that people are voting for?

If you didn't pick Bartel over SJ then i wouldn't settle for 2nd best. Get a Cashcow and upgrade to SJ later.

Buddy and Martin = $1091500

SJ + Zorko = $1051700.

Need any loose change?

I'd be all over Buddy.

Actually i rate this :P

Colliwobblers

buddy > zorko > bartel > martin

think zorko and martin have the upside

buddy is safe as houses and probably go #1 fwd again. Bartel is the risky play, will play as mich in defence as he does fwd but less in the midfield than ever before.

that said SC rewards game changers and Bartel was often outstanding behind the ball in defence last season....

If you can find another cash cow let me know  :P

Personally, I don't rate martin. Had him last year and I sorta blacklisted him.

Is jack watts in anyone's sights?  Could go buddy and watts instead?

Ricochet

Martin has gone close to 100 before so I would seriously consider him.

Of these two I like Roughead. Averaged what he did last year coming off an Achilles injury with a limited preseason. Expect him to have a big year
