Good assesment doggoneit.

I agree that game will closer than most think - Will be very surprised it is the 40pt margin that most agencies are offering.  Agree you have a much stronger line up than in previous years and I think will surprise a few this year.

I am nervous about this game. I think Longer will surprise as well. Remember in his debut game he was sole ruck against Sandilands and more than held his own.

Can not wait for the bounce.

Raines wasn't named because there is no one to tag at the dogs

Ringo

Just remembered Claye Beams has been used as a tagger run with player last year so he may get the job on Griffen or Cooney.

Doggoneit

hey Ringo - have we given you a big enough scare yet

Ziplock

what the actual flower.

Im in sydney, so this game isnt being shown...

are the lions really terrible, or the dogs really good?

Doggoneit

good question - Digs have been very good but Lions are below what they had shown in NAB

Yep. Damn Round 1, you never know who is being good, or who is being bad!

Well done anyway Dogs, 2013 surprise packet?

Ringo

Well done the Dogs and congrats Doggoneit.

Do not where that tackling pressure from the dogs though for the last 3 seasons.  As I said earlier in the post was nervous about this game and that Doggies will surprise a few this year.

Our midfield was outplayed tonight and Libba and Dalhaus were outstanding in applying forward pressure.

Doggoneit

Thanks Ringo

I gave us a sneaky chance but never expected that result

I would expect Lions to bounce back from that though

last 2 years we were heavily impacted by injuries and last year we made 4 or 5 changes every week. McCartney used last year to learn what he had at his disposal and has recruited well.

Can Libba be as good as his old man - certainly looking on track.

Lower was potentially our best player by stopping Rich.
