I'm really struggling to pick between these two. I already have Swan, Ablett, Kennedy and Cotchin locked and I need to decide who my last premo is gonna be. Murphy is underpriced considering how good he really can be but he has shown recently that he can't handle a tag. Joel Selwood won't give me super-premo scores but will give me a solid 100-110 every week. Who do I chose or is there someone else I should pick. I have 39,400 cash left over with Joel in my side. Thanks guys.

Thorpy

I can get Pendles but that will only leave me $2,100 cash left over!

Who cares if you have 2k left over. You must have Pendles.

So my mids will be Swan, Ablett, Pendles, Cotchin, Kennedy, Wines, Mitchell, O'Meara (Viney, Kommer) Kommer was named emergency to cover for mitchell in case he doesn't play!

G'day Thorpy!

Tough decision mate, but one i've also had to deal with. I chose Murphy over Selwood. Before his injury last year he was incredibly durable and bordering on elite DT numbers, hes undervalued for what he can produce and although he cant handle a tag well, with Judd and now Gibbs likely playing through the guts he may not be first in line for guys like Raines and Jones. Also with Malthouse now at the Blues his numbers could explode under the new game plan, look at Collingwoods midfielders.

Selwood will score well, but he'll also knock himself out a couple of times in the process, and you can bet he'll get the number one stopper each week. Both could go 100-110, but i think Murphys your man ;)

Pendles it is! Now do I look and decide whether Cotchin will step it up or whether Murphy may be a cheaper and better option?

Jukes

Murphy will improve his average by a bit more but Cotch will average a lot more.

Cotch: 111 (+1)
Murphy: 105 (+3)

Murphy 114 ;)

Wes Mantooth

Murphy has been disappointing thus far, don't have a good feeling about him. Last year though he looked primed for a 115 avergae until he got injured. He's consistent but I can see him getting tagged more now that Judd is looking more and more like an old man. Murphy is the most damaging at the blues now.

Noz

With Murphy getting more and more attention this year he might not be a good fantasy scorer at all.

On the other hand Carrazzo if he given more freedom and not tagging week in week out i can see him averaging someone in the low 100s

Take away his score of 1 where he broke his arm and he averages 97, Which makes him under priced by nearly 40k. Could be quite a good POD in the early parts of the season.

Last 2 years against Richmond... 98. 106, 103, 110
Last 2 years at MCG... 48(sub affected), 98, 114, 110, 1(sub affected), 90, 106, 103, 117, 142, 37(forward tag on Shaw and 6 frees against), 110

Average against Richmond in the last 2 years = 104.25
Average at the MCG not including sub games = 102.7 (110 excluding the fwd tag game)
