I pulled off a miracle with a minute before lockout, heard 10 minutes left that Embley was sub (I was paying good attention ::) )

Then realized I had him in my SuperCoach, so at 7.07pm I logged on and swapped him out at 7.09 ;D

so have that money for a player, Steven could be it if he starts!

Im not convinced on Stevens JS

Dogs have a lot of midfielders who are probably in front of him.

Boyd, Cross, Picken, Griffen, Cooney, Liberatore, Wallis, Lower, Higgins & Dalhaus.

They also have Pearce, Tutt, Johannissen, Howard, Goodes fighting for spots

While I expect him to get quite a few games he may not be in every week.

Inclined to agree Dogg, looks like the kind of guy that will get dropped after a bad game or two.
He might prove serviceable as a cash cow down the track but I'd hold off until he's on the bubble to be honest. I think he should be named for Thursday (don't quote me on that).

midfield is not the problem at the Bullies - the Forwards are the big issue and then defence - It will be interesting to see what McCartney comes up with for Rd1 as he now has a pretty clean medical room.

Picken, Cross or Lower could be used to shore up the defence which might leave room for Stevens in the Mids - but I can see Johannissen and Goodes playing half back roles which could push Stevens out of the team.

Dalhaus and Higgins will probably play as fwd/mids as they can impact the scoreboard
