& that gentlemen is exactly why when the polls or debates come up danger vs cotchin/murphy/kennedy/watson & most others around that mark you choose the other guy.yes probably above all those others wed like to have him at out club.but in fantasy land he will have several games like that & he will blow it to the shisenhausen with an out of the blue 170 odd point game,no if i want that i will pick buddy(or danger 2012 when he could be sat forward),but in my midfield i want 1 of those other machines that are going to churn it out every week.

debate over case rested!

Superman1978

Mate your a loser, it's just the first round. He played under the weather and got heavily tagged by one of the best taggers in hocking. Personally I was happy with his performance and how he went about his game while under the weather due to flu like symptoms. Guess we'll find out next round if your correct.

And NO I'm not a cow supporter.

One sub par week and you start with post game comments like this.
Easy after the game isn't it.
Try to be constructive before the game.
But by the look of your boo:cheer ratio constructive comments are not something you do well.

Not sure I've heard of the cows.

Big call slagging the boo ratio. especially when his hit the nail on the head. I'll cheer jimmy cause what he said is bang on. Danger had a great season last year but was still inconsistent. Impact player. I picked him chasing fools gold cause i see potential but until he delivers every week he will only be remembered as a good player for the crows that never won a premiership.

It's round 1.  Lets not over react.  I recall everyone wanted to get rid of Lake last year after his 30 in R1.  Plenty of posts about sidey and hmac cos of their R1 scores.

Pendles scored 68 against carlton in R3, but we didn't panic and drop him, and waste a trade.

The raging bull will still deliver plenty of good scores throughout the year, and plenty of good ones in the next 7 or 8 years before he hangs up the boots.

jimmytigs is correct to a certain extent in that Dangerfield albeit Round 1 shows us that he will probably be a massive up and down player.

You never know he could prove us wrong and score 120 every game from here on in with minimal deviation but that seems unlikely based on previous years' form. It's not that big a deal for people who have him so there's no need to get defensive, there's nothing wrong with a player who can bang out a 170 every now and then and who knows, if the stars align and you have a few players like this it could earn you a cool $1k.

Chill everyone
A low of 86 last year . 4 scores in 80s but several over 150.
He's a keeper so you take the highs with the lows.
At least he's not injured and  not suspended so no future rounds are affected.

Dooga

Ahhh relax, it's one game! Betcha he goes bang next week!

Exactelly, lowest score since 2011, 22 of March, don't play again for two weeks, first games every year produce scrappy games

What annoys me is how everyone is like "this is why you shouldnt have picked Dangerfield" or "I told you this would happen."  Bet these were the same people only days/weeks a go who were saying he was a good pick.

If you didnt pick him, it doesnt concern you. Unless you're trying to pick him up throughout the year.

If you did pick him, its only round one, relax.

I AGREE

Redbaron

One game means little, some has mentioned their are several games which have the least impact on a players price. Rd 23 no impact; followed by rd1/22; then rd2/21. So he pumps a good score out in dry weather next week ( like the big scores in the west tonight) and his price drp will be less impacted, so those who don't have him won't be able to get him that cheap anyway. He will still ave 115-120

I was telling everyone all pre-season he was a bad pick :P

ftr, I dont mean like a 60-70 average... I just mean I didn't, and dont, think he'll up his average substantially enough to be worth it.

shorty3264

he did destroy it last year, expecially second half....it's one game haha. Mate your a clown...
