I'd pick Boyd over Beams in a heartbeat.

3 years of 115+, I know what I'm getting without any stress.  8)

Beamsy could do anything! Could fall back to 110 or smash up to 120+.

I'm not usually one to take 599k risks but... 8)

Keep faith in your selections boys. You've picked him for a reason after a lot of research during a really long off season. Give him another couple of weeks at least. Looks at Beams last year... 74, 93, 85 and then went bang and finished with a 116 average. Lids is the same with only a 91 in round 1 and finished with a 110 average. There would be others too. Obviously Adelaide as a whole had a stinker but back your judgement for picking him.
He was tagged by Raines last year and still went 108
Went 140 and 89 against Port (game summary for the 89 was "head to head with Boak at the start but had to rotate forward too much after Tippett got injured" wouldn't expect to see him up forward for a majority of the game this year.)
Back your judgement boys

Paddy didn't score that badly all of last year, so what went wrong?

Was he actually under a sickness cloud? Did he not handle the pressure? Were Adelaide underdone? Was he struggling with the sliding rule?

Who knows? But one thing is for sure, he'll be back ;)

+1 Well said Ric!!

Also, look at Danger's scores last year - he was inconsistent, but still had enough good games to have the average that he did. So I would expect similar scoring this year - a few low scores, but some massive ones as well, that's just part of the package that you get when you select him. Stick by him. ;)

Heppell destroyed him
Uhh no he was going well when Heppell was attempting to tag him in term 1 but it was hocking who played a blinder.

Heppell didn't play on him. When Heppell was on him both Danger and Heppell won the ball. when Hocking went to Danger then he struggled.
