Cheaper players with better scoring potential, Brown was never going to be a massive scorer (41 points tonight), even if he had good js.

To be fair, Brown got those 41 points in little over two quarters. You couldn't complain if he continued that for a full game. Aside from Goodes, can't think of too many other rookies who were guaranteed to go better.

They said he rolled it early, tried to come back on and had it stood on. If it is just a roll, the extra week off will do him good. Hopefully it is just that and he is back in round 2.

Thankfully the thing in Brown's favour is the fact that Adelaide have next week off. Hopefully not too serious, 40 odd points in a half of footy is excellent
