Hurley is a 22 y.o KPP that has played in his second best position for the majority of the career...WTF is he meant to have done?

Yeah, but he won't play there because Carlisle is evolving into one of the best young KPDs in the comp (not just saying that because of last night have been following him for 3 seasons) and TRB seems to like Cale 'Loping Neanderthal' Hooker so there is no space for Hurley down back...But then 2 natural forwards in Gumby and Joe D can't play because Hurley is forward...It's a vicious cycle.

but i think the rules didnt have nothing to do with who won that taking alot of credit form the bombers imo
i knew in my gut bombers would come out firing after all the crap they been through

bombers win reaction from none supporters "oh see the peptides have made them better just took a while to kick in"
bombers lose - "see with no peptides cannot win anymore"

yes everyone saying the crows played poorly but that is only because bombers made them look it

well after 10 minutes of the first qtr when it was crows 21 bombers 0
crows looked the goods and bombers looked atrocious
till they dug in and got their game going

flower me, players have to actually be able to run now??? what a crazy rule change! since when have afl players had to be fit? demitriou is destroying the game. next thing you know they will bring in a rule that says you cant throw the ball

l think it's a huge over-reaction to blame the rule change for the result or Dangers performance, they're the same for everyone

Essendon played better and thoroughly deserved their win, they overcame a 20 point deficit, Adelaides home-ground advantage and a pre-season full of turmoil........well done Bombers !!!!!

As for Danger, he WAS sick, but he was also smashed everytime he went near the ball and had a fantastic job done on him by Hocking (which seems to be getting overlooked by everyone here)

l think Danger is a gun, but he's going to have to over-come pressure and attention like he's never had before on the footy field this year......he'll do well, but it will be a bit of a rollercoaster in my opinion

Another factor that hasn't been mentioned is the coaching, the points were clearly taken by Hidy there. Even at 3/4 time when asked by Richo what changes he'd make in the midfield (because they we're being smashed in clearances) Sando said he wasnt going to make any, and that the boys were just going to have to lift  ???

That's my 2 cents worth anyway  :)

does not look to me like anyone has taken offense to it

but i do get where your coming in from it could of turned sour plus if ppl make threads at other FF members every time they wanna throw some banter out the FB will hae about 300 new topics each week all to do with that...lol

Not making excuses for Dangerfield, just pointing out that for 100 years players have had time at stoppages to catch their breath, now suddenly they don't ???  stay in denile I don't care but you can't just ignore that this could have bad consequences!

Didn't Zip say that the ball used to be in play 70% of the time and now it is closer to 60%? Wouldn't that mean players have more time to catch their breath..?
