flower sake, traded Roughie to Ryder at the last minute to capitalize on some pod and he scores 50. He better stand up next week! Also booted Goddard out because every man and his dog had him. Happy with that move after last night, though I'm sure he will still have much better games than that one.

Yoshi

Very happy taking Watson over the hyped up players being spoken about preseason.

Only downer was Goddard but hey not to many won't have him so no real damage. 184/2

Noz

Just checked my team somehow I had Heppell instead of Hartlett!

What is this shower bullshower

How did Hartlett get out

DreamTeam 2013 is over

Bring on 2014

Maybe Heppell just ran out of legs?  ???

As for Godd, he looked like an old man and ran like he was as stiff as aboard, or like he needed to take a shower.  :P
Heppell went 37, 7, 21, 11
- does go quiet in patches, but played very well!

I don't think god will average 100, think he'll be around 90-95! he's not in our side to rack up 30 touches each week, he's there to be a leader, provide an extra facet in defense and be a utility. he played well

For somebody who loves Hartlett, not having him is a cardinal sin!  :P

Roughead himself is a p.o.d. so not sure why you were trading to acquire p.o.d.

198/3 Goddard, Heppell and Dangerfield. I think its far too early to hang them out to dry on one performance.

Only had the Godd, watched the game and not the scores and was very surprised that Godd got 71 after an absolute shocker!  :P

Heppell was everywhere but I was surprised he only got 76, I don't think his ceiling is as big as people may think...But it's early days! Safe to safe I can't wait for Hartlett next week!  8)
Did anyone else think Goddard looked slow and heavy?

yes, yes, and yes! noticed it straight away, seemed to be moving in slow motion all night. =/

im 147/2 like everybody else - got mundy/fyfe tonight - early acid test for my strategy *quivering wreck*

New fantasy rule, only get big runners into your team, the idiot has ruined any chance the burst player has on influencing a game!

While I agree with your overall sentiment - the game is really changing - it's not a "new" fantasy rule to get big runners in your team. Since the halcyon days of Rob Harvey, Shane Crawford, and Ben Cousins, the endurance runners have always been the cream of the crop when it comes to DT. It's the simple fact that they spend more TOG and get to more contests. But yes, now it's harder for the rest to get to more contests, so the endurance runners will stand out even more. I was surprised to see Watson only end with 113 he was EVERYWHERE.

Well, I had a mixed Friday scramble. Took Jacobs out, who scored 78 and looks very hit out reliant for points (37 of them). Then, 6 minutes before lockout, I lost the guts to lock Stanton in and took the option of waiting a week to see what happens with other options. Don't feel TOO bad about it as he didn't go 130+ and really make it hurt, but with Watson dominating and Goddard & Heppell in the midfield mix, Stanton will clearly be able to do as he pleases... It is a good score v Adelaide at AAMI. Hopefully another premium around the $460-560k mark gives a good reason over the next week to be picked.

I had Goddard like everyone else, and Heppell. I think Heppell showed good signs in a tough game, and Goddard will take a while to gel with the Bombers game plan. As I type that, I don't know why I didn't think of not starting with him, but absolutely everyone had him so it seemed riskless. Now POD will occur as some take the punt of trading him out after 1 round... It will be happening.

Hep D looked awesome last night - sure he faded out a bit (seems to always do that in his career so far) but he's gonna absolutely jet it this year playing midfield

Yep, 76 against the preliminary finalist from last year who were at home... It's not too bad. The smokey picks Hibberd & Baguley absolutely stunk it up, so I think strategy-wise picking a premium DEF instead is looking like the right call.

Heppell didn't play that good. H went at like 38% effiency.

Hibberd is better suited to SC he got 90 points last night  and he averaged just under that last year in SC until he got injured
