Emergancies in partial lock out

How does it work,,,,,,say i have cox and no other rucks playing this round and cox doesnt play. Do i still need to have an emergancy picked even though they are not playing this round or can i still choose the emergancy next week for the full lock out.

You can choose your emergencies up until the full lock out next week ..but you wont be able to select a player as your emergency from Essendon,Adelaide,West Coast,Fremantle,Carlton and Richmond if you wait till then because they will obviously be locked out
