750k on Ablett --> Busts out a consistent 150, if he is your perma-captain, that's 300 points.

1mil on 2 premium mids, most likely they will both score around 100. Say you set one to be your captain, 300 points.

The 250k difference picks you up a Trengove, Martin etc, as we are all hoping they may average around 70-80, making them mean cashcows.

So an extra 70-80 points plus cashcow potential, go with GAJ.

Bloke who scored highest in supercoach and won the 50,000 last year didnt have abblett. He is too much and it is much safer to take two premium players compared to abblett and a spud

I reckon there r arguments for both sides. I'm a GAJ fan so he's a lock for me in SC. It's the risk you take not having him if he scores well as captain! There isn't anyone else who scores as prolifically and as consistently hence his price increasing again on top of LY.

The difference will be whether enough cash cows pay off to upgrade em to premiums and at what stage so you offload when they've peaked and barring late season injuries! MPP will def add an extra dimension to the comp this year too.
