Who is your 1st Upgrade Target?

Who are you hoping to snare? Are you hoping they will drop in price 1st? Did you skip them for round 1 to see if they will come out with the right role and firing?

S.Johnson for me. Hoping the tough fixtures restrict him to a respectable 100 average, and goes on to post some monster scores after i get him in ;)

Goddard. Teams will be shower scared of him at the start of the season so they will tag him. Then realise he's not that great, so he can go back to getting cheap kicks in the backline by himself.

Yeah it's not ideal but I already have Rocky,, Zorko, Dusty and Karnezis (he will be traded before byes) so I can't really afford another from the round 11 bye group. I'm still up in the air about him anyway with a tough start, contract circus to come etc would rather get a good look at how he's going

Backing Dusty for R1-13 over Buddy ... that's one-eyed :P

Im not backing dusty to score more than buddy at all but Dusty is 150k cheaper. They are in a different category all together

Ohh i wasn't implying that ... what i meant is that you would rather go 13 rounds without Buddy, because he shares the bye with Dusty ... rather than go 13 weeks without Dusty because of the same reason.

I've toyed with the idea, but I'm a Hawks support ... and he's my only Hawk lol.

Its not a matter of buddy vs dusty though. If they were the same price I would be going with buddy, put it that way. I like to have a potential breakout player though and I'm confident dusty will be that player.
If anyone, It's more Zorko that I'm picking instead of buddy. Bit cheaper and soft fixture. By seasons end I will hope my forward line to be franklin, cox, zorko, rocky, steviej, dusty. Early days though

Personally i think Dusty beating a fit McEvoy or improving Jacobs is a bit much to ask. I'd take NicNat in the fwd line.

Otherwise i think your on the money with your preferred 6.

Possibly, gotta take a risk somewhere though. I plan to have NicNat in the ruck along side McEvoy or Goldy if he works out.
