Where are the big bash experts?

Bet365 have a special of double your winnings on a head to head match if your selection wins and hits 8+ sixes in the game, $100 maximum win.  So guessing that $50 would be max bet and if you win you'd end up on $150 if your team wins and hits the required number of sixes?

Nah I would have thought you could bet as much as you like, but only $100 max is doubled.

From memory, Big Bash is very unpredictable as it takes one good innings/one good over to change an entire match. I'll stick with fantasy, maybe the odd punt if I feel something is extra juicy

Chase the Ace is back, but with rules unfortunately.  10 bets max per day, minimum $25 bet starting today (so you can put in 10 bets today, 10 tomorrow, 10 Sunday and 10 Monday before round 1 starts), however you have to spin a wheel on each bet to see how many reward pt's you get per ace, anywhere from 10c-$10 per ace.  Pt's awarded whether your player wins or losses.

Id be taking max per day and then hedging on the other side losing $1-2 per match but always gaining more bonuses

You'd be losing a lot more than $1-2 per match if the favourite wins going by that method, especially this early in the tournament where the odds are pretty heavily favoured.

Take for example a few matches tomorrow...

Djokovic (1.17) vs Monfils (5.10). Minimum bet to get "Chase the Ace" is $25, so an outlay of $50 for the match. If Djokovic wins you get $29.25 back, so a loss of $20.75 even with the bonuses.

Or are you suggesting you put the $25 on Joker and $6 on Monfils? Total outlay $31, so lose $.175 if Joker wins, or lose $0.40 if Monfils wins, but you still get the bonus?

Because to me that just doesn't seem worth it... :-\

I guess you could do it with a closer match odds wise...

Ramos-Vinolas (1.51) vs Smyczek (2.44).
$25 on RV gets back $37.75
$15 on Smyczek gets back $36.6

Total outlay $40, but losing between $2.25-$3.40.

Just not worth it just to get some bonuses :-X

I'd say it's still worth it, as i've already racked up $700 in bonus bets

But haven't been hedging myself, winners are fairly easy to pick at this stage so there's not really a need to.

Yeah I'm about $900 up in bonus bets without hedging, the key now is to spend those bonuses wisely which is easier said than done...

Yeh hedging was what I was suggesting. Dont have to do it for all games but some of those closer games would be handy to minimise losses.

You guys should look into betfair, I always use it to lay my bonus bets, generally gives me a guaranteed profit

Not sure if anyone is having a bet at Sale today but Tykiato in race 7 and coral rose in race 8 are v good chances.
