Coleman medal. Buddy currently at $2.50 favourite and, although I think he wins it, these odds are way too tight to be worthwhile. However, Buddy has a bye this week and Cameron and Betts don't. If they both kick a few, do Buddy's odds increase? Once to watch.
Was keen on Cameron pre season to return to form. Now JJk misses a few weeks it's a 2 horse race imo

Did this in round 2
Sloane - Brownlow
Cameron - Coleman
Marchbank - rising star

Not bad although I do think SPP is a fair bit ahead of Marchbank right now. Was that in a multi or just solo bets? Sloane would've been great odds at that stage too.

I had $300 on Sloane to win last years brownlow. Went a year early

Thoughts on the port/hawks line moving much?

Currently lad brokes are offering port to win 20+ at $2 max bet $25
On bet365 and sportsbet on pick your own line i can get hawks +29.5 at $2.05

This means i can put 25 on each and and if port win 20-29 I get a $50 profit. Any other result I make my money back, so essentially a risk free bet.

Just wondering if you guys think the lines will shift at all and I shoukd jump on now or wait to get a better line on hawks?

Good pick up.

I'm on the Port bet, tough to know what happens now, I feel money will start coming if for Port which means line pushes out for Hawks closer to the game?

All odds were on sportsbet earlier today. Ill be sourcing the best odds for myself before placing.

Lopez over Fratangelo @ 1.51 on crownbet
Lopez is a much stronger player and took Fratangelo out in straight sets on clay earlier. While Fratangelo might be able to take a set off Lopez, I think taking 3 will be a step too far.

Easy Win

Troicki -5.5 over Donskoy @ 1.61 Sportsbet
Donskoy got demolished by Troicki 6-1 6-2 about a month ago and I see no reason over the last month that this will change. The fact that he only won 3 games gives me the confidence that even if he gets a set Troicki has the potential to win sets easy and cover the handicap.

My thoughts turned out exactly right, Won a set easy to cover the handicap

Fognini -5.5 over Tiafoe @ 2 on Sportsbet
I feel that Fognini is being underrated here due to Tiafoe’s strong leadup, albeit in weaker challenger tournaments that he really should have been winning. Fognini is a brilliant clay court player while Tiafoe is more suited to the fast grass or indoor hard courts, so the slower RG courts will provide Fognini more chances to get into rallies that suit him.

This was a frustrating one as Fognini was up 2 sets and a break before winning 2 of the next 14 games. really should have taken it in straight sets which would have got the win.

Mahut over Bolelli @ 1.99 on Crownbet
It is a little risky picking a big server on clay, however the odds seem too good to pass on. Bolelli is making his way back up from the issues last year, and is better than his ranking, yet Mahut is a big step up in quality on his previous opponents. Mahut’s lead in hasn’t been filled with wins, but has got a couple of good ones under his belt, with a few other losses to tough opponents.

Lost easily, was a poor choice in hindsight

Fourlis +8 over Wozniacki @ 1.83 on Crownbet
Im not 100% on this, but the handicap is being very generous given Fourlis is a good mover around the court and wozniacki is a very hot and cold player who is coming in off a retirement in Strasbourg. I expect Fourlis to get 2-3 games in each set which should cover the handicap. Won’t be including in any multi’s though.

Win, Ive seen Fourlis before but never play that well. Was pretty impressive, expected her to take some games, but not the set she did.

Niculescu +5 over Kontaviet @ 1.95 on Crownbet
While Kontaviet was is outstanding form last week her previous weeks didn’t meet that level. This is what has me leaning towards Niculescu. Niculescu is a very different player with strong use of slice which might cause some difficulties for a younger Kontaviet. I could easily see Niculescu taking a set or stay relatively close, but probably not enough to win overall

Another that was really close. Niculescu was up a break in the second and only needed to get 2 more game, but lost 6 straight winning only 7 points.

Jankovic over Hogenkamp @ 1.84 on Crownbet
I think this is outstanding value. While Hogenkamp is coming in with form it was in a weak ITF draw where the highest player she played was 202 in the world. Jankovic on the other hand has been competing against other top 50 players and matching most of them. She should have too much class and experience for Hogenkamp.

Hogenkamp was too good

Gavrilova -4.5 over Mertens @ 2 on Sportsbet
Gavrilova has been in outstanding form and is looking to continue that over the French Open. Mertens is another up and comer who has the potential to be a top 20 player at some stage in her career. These 2 played in Rabat a few weeks ago with Gavrilova nly losing 3 games and she has continued that form on. I cannot see her losing this and the 4.5 looks like good value.

Had Gavrilova won the match in the 3rd the bet would have got up, but she was incredibly erratic and deserved to lose

Only got 3/8 and they were the lesser odds matches which meant it didn't cover the losses as well, so overall a poor day. 2 were poor choices, but 3 of the losses could easily have ended differently.
Still slightly up overall so not too worried.

Only just staring to look at today now so will update here as I go.

Gonna be in order of matches starting so I can look at the later ones when I get home.

Kyrgios -3.5 over Kohlschreiber @ 2 on Tabtouch
With Kyrgios you never really know what you are going to get, but normally performs well in round 1 of Grand Slams. His losses in R1 of GS’s have been US Open 2013 vs Ferrer (4th Seed), 2014 French Open vs Raonic (8th Seed), 2015 US Open vs Murray (3rd Seed). In all other R1 RG matches he has not lost a set.
While Kohlschriber is a past top 30 player his game has fallen off slightly especially at the top level, while he might take a set, Kyrgios should have too much movement and power to overrun him.

Suarez Navarro -5.5 over Sakkari on Sportsbet @ 1.61
Suarez Navarro is one of my outsiders to win the whole thing this year. IMO she is the best pure clay courter playing ATM on the womens side. Sakkari has been very poor in the leadup and I expect this to be a procession. A 6.5 handicap would be too risky IMO. Sportsbet is the only 1 I can see still holding the 5.5 handicap

Cornet over Babos on Crownbet @ 1.65
Cornet is the better play,  playing at home, better form and more experience. Babos who even lost to an out of form Kerber in the leadup along with Schiavone & Bacsinszky. I expect Cornet to win this 80% of the time.

Hesse +6.5 over Vondrousova @ 2.10 on TabTouch
Vondrousova has been in good form, but is young and historically has struggled to put players to big losses. I think a 6.5 line is quite generous for this match

Multi @ 13.39
Odds are slightly different as Suarez was a +6 handicap to include which would mean a push instead of a win if it finishes at 6.

Overall not a massive amount that I like tonight, I can see quite a few upsets happening, but they could be very easy wins at the same time which makes it difficult to bet on.

Nice one mate, I'll jump on this. Can't lose, don't think the line will shift too much tbh

Yeh found it at +30.5 on bet 365 just then at $2.05, ill take that. Will be upset if i check tomorrow and it drops haha!

Also, not sure if i have mentioned this before or not, but have a look for a dog called Cyndies Magic racing on Thursday night at Albion Park, race 7 she loves the long distance race (710m) and is absolute ripping form. Will likely be a short price favourite but worth chucking in a multi, this dog is something else.

R.Griffen

I'm on Babos. Just been taking outsiders in women's tennis like I normally do. Got Pironkova at $5.50 sadly didn't take Hsieh paying $10s to beat Konta

Yeah outsiders are normally good value when long, but its getting the right ones. I looked at both as having a chance but really didnt know if they could so erred on the side of caution. I was thinking there would be upsets today and its been just that.

3 won so far with 1 left. Multi was a push as SN finished at 6 exactly as i thought it would.

elephants

Had my multi paying $8 go 3/4 tonight. Berankis really is an awful player, thought he'd turned the corner

Had a $70 bonus on Murray to win 3-1 so that was a nice collect though

HoleMeal

Super close LS!

What is your opinion on Halep?
I have her in a decent multi, she was $3.50 to make the final. She won overnight but wanted a second opinion on whether she can make the final.
Cashout is an option BUT she only has to make it, not win it.
