Mate, as long as you can live to play another day its great!  This is my 2nd biggest win!  I got a 1st place in one of the big NBA ones on Moneyball, paid 3K!  So tough though, some of those guys put in 40 teams per day @ $15 a pop!  :o

Ended up being $880.  Don't really like the single game ones unless there are some quality cheapies to build around, prefer the full day comps, if you can nail the underpriced guys you're off to a good start.

What were the odds? That's a really smart bet with the rules changes and I wish I'd thought of it.



I lost all my bets on Saturday and was down $60 for the weekend. Chucked $50 on a basketball special at $2.50 odds and won, then won Mitchell DT over, Fyfe DT over, and Danger DT over (all just small $10 singles). All of a sudden, up $40 for the weekend :)

Anyone got thoughts on Thursdays match?

Overall I thought Richmond were quite impressive, albeit against a weak Carlton team that defensively was very poor. Without Martin I expect that match would have been much closer as the new recruits didn’t have a huge impact on the game.
While Collingwood to me outplayed the WB, their ball use was horrid and lost them the game.

I believe that Richmond will get destroyed in the middle and around the stoppages, with Collingwood getting first use of the ball the majority of the time. This will be in a similar vein to Round 20 last year. Eventhough they lost that match most of the key stats outside possessions and DE% favoured Collingwood.

Collingwood will be better for the run against the Bulldogs at a much higher intensity than Richmond will bring, so I don’t expect the same level of poor kicking that we saw in R1.

Im not really seeing much in the lines or player markets for this game, but do feel that Collingwood  @ 1.75 is pretty good value.
