With about 4 minutes to go Johanisen was @ $4 for Norm Smith. Put down a small $10 bet and it covered some of my losses. That was really good odds with so little time left. Would have put more down but was worried about Boyds goal scoring and marks.

Had $30 on Franklin to kick first goal. Money back if he didn't but kicked the 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Lost.
$30 on Parker for Norm Smith - Cashed out with about 4 minutes to go and got about $13 back.

The thing I'm most annoyed about is a "gonna" moment. After dogs won the first final they were $9 for the 2017 flag.
My plan was to put down $100 on it. I thought at the time that they would not have a chance at this year's flag and I'd get around to doing it. Forgot then it dropped to $6.50 or something. Now theyve won the flag it's only $4.50.

Yeah you've missed those odds and now they are way too short ... would be foolish to back the dogs at 4.50 this far out from collecting at that price. Their pressure and intensity has been relentless and won them the flag but I still feel that they can be beaten by many teams next year. It's well documented that they only finished 7th and won 15 games. $4.50 for 2017 is ridiculous if you ask me.

Should be around $8 IMO... prefer GWS if I had to have a bet right now.

Well I honestly had it planned that I would cash out early with a reasonable profit.

Wow, have to admit I was massively wrong on this one, Dogs did something that is incredibly rare in AFL, 7th seed to flag plus no previous finals experience!  :o  Well done Dogs.

Early tomorrow morning I am very keen on Raymond Van Barneveld to beat Gary Anderson in the semi finals of the World Grand Prix of Darts in Dublin.

The format of the World Grand Prix is that you have to hit a double to start the leg. Barney has the best double-in stats of the remaining 4 players and Anderson had massive trouble hitting tops to start (and end) legs against Kim Huybrechts in the quarter final.

Barney also is yet to lose a set in the tournament. I took $2.50 with Ubet earlier in the day but with Sportsbet is currently $2.67 H2H. I think that is a really good bet.

MVG will probably just win the tournament overall. He is $1.11 to win his semi final and $1.45 to win the tournament but RVB looks a good bet to he H2H v Anderson.
