So good!  Apparently whatever gambling body we have in Oz, they are spewing that Willy Hill have found this loophole where you don't even have to speak to anyone to put on a live bet!  I think they are trying to change the law though, so hope it doesn't happen any time soon!

Yep I read that the Federal Govt wants to ban it indefinitely until the election and then they'll make a call on it after that. Hope not though, live betting is where I make my gains!

I had $13 on him, nothing back. The promotion does say excluding SA & WA residents, however a lot promotions on other betting websites say that but I still get the money back?

I'm in WA and I got $13 back on Jack...click on the silhoute in the top left corner and then transcations...it should say $13 depositied, promotion or something like that...or they really mean not in SA. :-\

Their online help and their call centre both keep sprouting the line that it's SA betting regulations meaning they can't honour their promotions even though all other agencies I'm with do (Sportsbet, Crownbet, Ladbrokes). They can't answer as to why you guys in WA still receive the money back though.

Well looks like opening an account with them was a waste of time, unless I change my address to somewhere else ;)

It definitely says SA and WA.

After they told me on the live chat and via phone there was nothing they can do, they just responded to my original email saying SA and WA law says they can't advertise these promotions, however they can "credit them in certain circumstances as a gesture of good will".

So I've got the $13 back from last night, but not really sure if they will continue to in the future ???
