Just looking at some odds on Centrebet for the NFL

Teams that represent good value

Jacksonville to win at home playing an ishy Houston team that has lost 10 in and a row. The Jags are at $2.38 and have actually won a few games

Raiders to beat the Jets - Geno Smith was horrible, Raiders D was decent up until Sunshine put up 7 TD's against them. The Raiders at $2.15 are good odds.

Colts at $3. Their slump will turn, I can't see them being as bad as they have for the rest of the season, the Bengals are inconsistent, it will be tight.

Seahawks at $2.22 after just destroying the Saints. They have had trouble on the road this season but after they way they just dominated the second best team in the conference you would think they should be favourites.

St. Louis at $3. A risky pick but considering that the Cards have a turnover prone offense and the Rams defense has been amazing lately, they are a chance.

Denver at the line of -3.5 Vs Cavs @ 1.85 is very good IMO!

Denver on a 7 game win streak. Cavs are only have 2 wins from last 10. One being in OT.

Only reason this line is so short is the Cavs are coming off 5 days rest I think....

Nuggets are 7-3 ATS away and 10-7 overall. Looks a good bet.



Looking at the Suns Vs Rockets game.

Potent rockets offense. Going over 204.5.



Indiana are good spread team, but I'd adjust the spread line for the jazz game to Pacers -3.5 @ 1.33. NBA teams no matter the record can cause massive boil overs, like yesty when Jazz beat Houston. I think Indy will beat jazz pretty easily. But with multis its all about minimizing the risks!  :P



OKC Vs Portland. Best game of the night. Tipped Portland to beat Indy yesterday as Indy only have beaten .500%+ teams once and that was LA.

This will be tight and OKC can win this. So I think the +7.5 line @ 1.33 seems good value. Win streak of 8, a bit dodgy away though... If one of Portland's starters go down. They will be cooked, their bench is very shallow.



Well rested Clippers with Paul back? Starting line of -2.5 seems pretty good. I'd extend it out to get 2 dollar odds. Hawks are my bogey team in betting. They can be very good, which is annoying.  :P

Clippers -3.5 @ 2.02.  Depends on which Hawks teams turn up. Hawks have the ability to win it....

I was gunna do the H2H multi thing. But not really a fan of betting on the NBA straight up.  :P

Miami might be the best team in the league arguably, but even a Pistons team on there day can win. NBA teams are just so even, even with some teams not having mega superstars.  :P

I just noticed that the Bengals are undefeated at home and have a good winning margin. They are one of 5 teams currently undefeated at home. The others are Seattle, New Orleans, Pats and Broncos. For my pick'em I have gone with the Bengals but I would still not be surprised to see them drop this game.

So far the Jags have beat the Texans, it will be interesting to see which of these games do come up.


I still have a free $20 bet I need to use, I might look at using it next week or the week after depending on what odds I can get. There is no point on putting one on in week 16 when teams rest their starters.
