sorry but I actually cannot stand to where the betting has got to, its good to have a punt every now and then but to see live odds and "JAIMEE ROGERS HEREEEEEEE" or the "I don't know how they do it" quote of Tom Waterhouse... on every ad break whilst watching the footy gets really annoying after a while

SA have just made a move to ban live odds gambling advertising during sport, I think its a good move cos gambling is being advertised to kids all the time (inadvertently or not)

I do not have anything against having a punt, but the state of gambling advertising during sport is now out of control.

Agree Tominator - Betting Advertising during the game is getting to rediculous levels.  Did you watch Four Corners last night? 
If you are going to have a punt you know where to go and where to get the odds to have the punt without it being advertised. I think it is a blatant exercise to get it into the kids early as one of the persons interviewed it is a sorry state of affairs when you hear boys talking more about the odds than the game itself.
Is this going to be the next thing we as a country have to fix up after tobacco and alcohol,

If any of you don't mind, out of pure curiosity i'd like to see how much you spend on sports betting, coupled with how much you win back. Just voer the next 5 weeks, if anyone doesn't mind. Or, even better, if someone does track how much they spend and win back on sports betting, it'd be interesting to see. :)

At the pub, everyone in there just bets on the favorites. It's just stupid gambling IMO.
