the biggest favorite of them all 2nd if green bay biggest is
Detroit 4.80 vs Seattle 1.20
ok NFL guys explain is Seattle like that good or is Detroit that bad?

cause seattle at -6.5 is 1.57

or is the Green bay one a better option is are they both risky for my cash?...lol
I'd prefer Seattle -6.5 than GB -4.5. Seattle have been to the last 2 SuperBowl's, so your money is riding on a really good team and they're at home vs Detroit who are 0 wins, 3 losses this season.

Just looking at the SportsBet lines, you're getting 3.5 off of that with the Seattle one, but only 3 with Green Bay. And it looks like more money has come for the Niners + the points than Detroit + the points.

But in saying that, I prefer New Orleans to both of them now that Drew Brees (their best player) is listed as playing.

My counter to the first part of that is. "If last week is any indication, Detroit at least HAS a semblance of a defence, The Niners couldn't defend a closed door" :P

I like the Saints too but I don't know what condition Brees is or will be in, if I had to throw $800 down I don't want there to be any risk Luke McCown may show again

Better take my NFL questions to the NFL thread

Nah mate, this is bet chatter. Go for your life ;)

The Lions are pretty bad this year. I think in Seattle and with Kam Chancellor back the Hawks are absolute locks. I wouldn't put anything on the Cards, division games are always awkward. I remember the Rams beat the Hawks last year and I was pretty shocked. I am with BP, no way I put that much cash in the hands of Luke McCown.

Mat0369

I just noticed Crown Bet does NFL fantasy markets, the two bets I would seriously consider are Teddy Bridgewater under 12.5 points (no team has hit that mark this year against the Broncos yet) and Lamar Miller under 10.5 points. Both are @$1.88 I think. I would look at the Bridgewater one right now, I can't see him cracking that 12.5 mark.

Well I'm in a similar boat to Daz now.

I've got $125 and $130 that I need to turnover before I can withdraw.

The $125 needs to be put on $1.80+ and the $130 needs to be put on $1.50+

Might stick with soccer but its a tricky one haha

Mat0369

I reckon the Bridgewater bet is a good one. They will look to use Peterson but the Broncos D has been the best so far this season, it is in Denver and so far these are the total scores QB's have put up against the Broncos in standard scoring leagues

Week 1: Joe Flacco @Denver - 0
Week 2 - Alex Smith vs Denver - 4
Week 3 - Matt Stafford vs Denver - 9

I can't see Bridgewater scoring more then any of those guys, I would be

Other markets I would look at

Karlos Williams any time TD scorer @$1.53 (has scored in every game and no Shady this week)

Randall Cobb any time TD scorer @$1.50, James Jones in the same game @$1.75 as well.

Aaron Rodgers over 275.5 yards passing @$1.85

Bradford under 250.5 yards @$1.88 (torrential rain expected)

DazBurg

i dunno what bets to do
glad rusty helped me decide that NRL was a no go
i was going to back the broncos...lol

@ Mat
so you think those fantasy ones are more safer then the win ones?
(i know everything is a gamble but i mean since i do not know a lot of player sin NFL i pretty much have no clue whoy uo just spoke of and who they play for etc)

Mat0369

I think the Bridgewater one is pretty safe based on the stats the Broncos D have been giving up all year. I think I would go with either that one or Rodgers. The 9'ers have given up these yardage totals

Week 1 - Bridgewater: 231 yards passing (they won this game)
Week 2 - Roethlisberger: 21 of 27 for 369 yards and 3 TD's
Week 3 - Palmer: 20 of 32 for 311 yards, 2TD's and 1 INT

Rodgers is the best QB in the league. His totals for the season are

Week 1 - 18 of 23 for 189 yards and 3 TD's
Week 2 - 25 of 33 for 249 yards and 2 TD's
Week 3 - 24 of 35 for 333 yards and 5 TD's

I think he should have a 300 yard game easily considering the opposition. The worry with that would be they bench him if they are really far in front.

I would wait for a 2nd and 3rd opinion on those because I would feel horrible if you lost the cash with one of those two bets not coming through.

yeah thanks mate

might leave it for now as i feel i am searching to hard for a bet

also quick question think it has been answered before
but these places don't let you do Hedge bets do they?

Mat0369

If I had to put a percentage on the two bets I have listed, I would say I am 90% sure on the Bridgewater one and 75% sure on the Rodgers one (only reason he won't is if they are up by 4 scores and they rest him which there is a good chance).

No idea on the hedging bets part, I don't really bet so I have never had to worry about it.

kilbluff1985

if you wanna do hedge bets use different sites

Mat0369

No way Lamar Miller is cracking 10 points. He is on 3.6 and they are 20 points behind. It's throw all day for the Dolphins now.

The lesson here for DazBurg is "Big Brother BratPack is always right"  :P

Mat0369

Good thing you didn't take Bridgewater or Rodgers.

Miller and Williams came up though
