Thoughts and ratings guys? Also any suggestions where to use the 40k?

I like your team its pretty good across the board however you have cos in both your fowards and rucks? also as for the 40K i would  Maybe upgrade martin. I just wasnt sold on his pre-season

DEF: Good line mate, very similar to mine, only difference is brown who I cannot currently afford. Hoping Heppell is in for a big year after taking the risk on him over the likes of Duffield, hartlett and hanley. 9/10

MID: Looks really good, once again similar to my structure however we have different super premiums in m3 and m4. The two Richmond boys should do really well and deledio is a great POD, think he will smash it this year. Good rookie choices. 10/10

RUC: Like it, gone with 2 very strong ruckman who will give you 100+ each week and good back up players. 10/10

FWD: You've doubled up on cox, if only mate ;) haha but im guessing that there is a premium like buddy/walker/ruck DPP in the F1 position??? 3 premiums and 3 mid pricers is a good idea, I had this exact same set up for a while, with poor fwd rookies I think its very important to have a forward line where you feel safe that they will play. 10/10

Overall: Think this is the highest rating ive given out, great team mate, 13 premiums and 3 mid pricers is a very good start to round 1 and I think youll do well, best of luck mate. 39/40

Impressive team mate. I agree, that 3 premiums and 3 mid priced forwards is the way to go as not much in the way of forward rookies. A ruck combo that both will ave 100 plus per game. I like that you've gone with both Cotchin and Delidio as they will star this season and if they don't Richmond can kiss there finals hopes goodbye...

I'm guessing you're a tigers fan? Otherwise, I really wouldn't trust Martin over the likes of bartel rockliff etc..  If probably swap neade with Rowe, just to utilize the DPP with cox.. Then I'd start cox in the fwd line if blicavs or currie get named, at the expense of varcoe for example. That would then make him dispensable, so you could go for a Tom Lee and pocket the cash to upgrade elsewhere.. You'd have around 200k extra and your team wouldn't be much weaker at all.. So maybe upgrade heppel to birchall for example or Kennedy to a fwd premium.

Well this is a very different team, will be interesting to see how it goes throughout the seasons
I think the backline and midfield is very strong perhaps too strong
I think if you run with hickey as r2 you need a gun to support him, dont want to be upgrading 2 ruckmen
The forward line is strong enough however i don't think running with 4 rookies here is wise, of the 3 you have only maccaffer would be expected to play round 1 i think
If everyone you have picked gets named youll have a very good starting point :)

Thanks a lot mate, i've done this kind of trade a few times and always come back to the team i have. I am just a huge fan of dusty, if he brings his best he will be 105+ easily. The other thing i don't like when i do these trades is the forward rookies, i just see no value in them. But thankyou a lot for your opinion, gives me something else to think about

I like this team, its different, i like it.
Backline is good, rivers is a good POD, look at pittard over colquhoun, alternatively brown or vlastuin
Midfield for mine is a little to strong, with 5 super premo's plus caddy i think it might be a bit over the top. i would drop caddy or one of your guns to a mid price option rich/mundy/fyfe etc
Rucks i have no problems, just watch berger
Forward line is a bit week for mine, i would straight away use that 100k right there, plus the money you get from the midfield trades to bulk it up a bit
That said i like that yours is a bit different so well done and goodluck :)
