I'm so close to chucking him into my side, has been scoring great and racks up the ball. Was being subbed off in GF just a rotation thing? is he in the lions best 18?

Thoughts guys, cheers.

johnno brown said on the footy show last thursday he played twos last year in the mids to get him prepared to play mids this year i think he will be rotated through the mids and down forward his JS is good this year IMO he is now locked in my side untill i hear otherwise

hmm interesting, yeh he averaged 28 touches a game at NEAFL level. he is very tempting, I think he'll make his way in haha. thanks.

Yep played in the NEAFL on the wing last year to get more experience, so that he could establish himself in the Lions firsts.

He still looks like he does some muppet things, got pinged a couple of times and didn't look efficient with his disposals. Any have his states from NAB final? But he will settle in, could run out of legs later in the year, so not sure how big his tank is.

I wouldn't think he will score as freely as he did in the NAB, but for a mid-pricer he looks to have a higher ceiling than some of the others.

Yep firmly in the best 18 IMO, he was subbed to monitor his workload (he's had a heavy workload throughout the Nab)

The biggest knock on Karnezis heading into his 2nd season was his fitness, the club played him on the wing in the NEAFL to improve his tank. I'm a little concerned about it, but looks to have had a really good preseason.

Shown in his debut year that he's a dangerous forward too, cant see him getting subbed late, maybe rested forward worse case scenario

I'm a little concerned about his disposal and efficiency for SC, however no doubt he will make money.

Thanks guys. It's him or Varcoe, I'm leaning towards Patty.

And he had 88 SC points i'm pretty sure until he was subbed.

Ringo

Karnezis played 252 minutes of football in the NAB cup scoring a total of 387 SC points at an average of 1.54 pts per minute.  SC scores against the 4 games were 108, 113, 72 and 94 (subbed off in 3rd quarter in GF).

Lot of NAB stats have been taken down and although Patty's disposal was a little rusty early in the GF he ended up with over an 80% efficiency.  This may have been nerves as bear in mind this was the first finals appearance for majority of Lions players in 6 years.

Regarding JS he will have to maintain this form to remain in team as with Brisbanes depth there will be players waiting in the wings to step up.

Here are some club stats over the NAB for those that are interested
