Blicavs and Rucks

For Supercoach to change Blicavs from MID to RUCK/MID must mean something.

If the Geelong ruck stocks are so shattered that he is their number 1 for a while is he worth looking at?
How far away are the other Geelong rucks?
If one comes back within 2-5 games will Blicavs still hold his spot as a pinch hitting ruck?

What other rucks are worth looking at? at a rookie price?
Currie and Goldstein will not both play at the same time according to some topics. Probably also knocks out Daw to.

Rowe isn't that good but his DPP holds so much value. Especially with IMO Warnock, Hampson, Casboult, Kruezer Waite all ahead of him.

I'm sure I read somewhere that because of his athleticism (olympic steeplechaser) he can also play off the half back line. I think he was recruited as a running half back/midfielder. The only reason he is rucking is because Vardy, West and Dawson are all injured.

What about in SC Draft is he going to change to MID/RUC?? As it'd be a sneaky pickup for me til HMac is back.

Blicvas DPP status doesnt mean anything.

The fact he can now be picked as a ruck might make you consider him.

For his DPP to mean anything you would need one of two things.

1. An alternate mid/ruck DPP. There is none

2. Him to make enough money to warrant a downgrade at which time you could draft a rookie mid in his place assuming you could shuffle a Fwd/mid and Fwd/ruck to cover his absence. He aint going to be the biggest cash cow.

I'm going with him as a bench ruck player and play cox in my rucks for now, with rowe on my forward bench, then hopefully can do some switching and covering until my first upgrade.

He was never going to make my mids. Just wanting to know if he is worth more than other rookie rucks. E.g Rowe Daw Currie McBean Witts Grundy Etc.
Because you have to pick 4 rucks regardless obviously.
That's where the problem was, not whether he was worthy of a mid rookie. If he is going to play enough I could go 1 prem 3 rookie ruck and move Cox back to my forward line.

Currie/Rowe/Daw all better option IMO.

His JS once Hmac/West comes back is more than questionable.

How often will Currie/ Rowe/ Daw play with Goldstein ahead of the two NM boys and even Petrie?
Then Rowe has at least 6 bigs ahead of him IMO. Is he ahead of Waite, Casboult, Hampson, Kruezer, Warnock? Not all of them but at least 2? I just can't see it.

Tbh, Rowe has looked way out of his depth so far in the NAB Cup and will not get a game.
Currie/Daw? What is going on with NM's ruck stocks, I do not know so until round 1 team sheets come out I wont speculate but I can't see both playing.

Very confident in saying that by year end all three will have played more games, score more points and increased in value more than Blicavs

I still think that Witts/Rowe/Daw will only get a chance mid-way through the year when someone gets dropped on form. Blicavs however should play straight away, and is therefore in my team. As soon as Blicavs looks as if he won't be playing again, i'll downgrade him to Witts or similar.

most likely non will play enough games to make a nice profit so it doesnt really matter who you pick. Personally i picked Blivcas because he is playing round 1 (starting on the ground) with west also playing. Also picked Rowe because he was named emergancy and has DPP
