Playing for league games. Who has best JS? Got Macaffer at F6. Also does anyone know when Staker is expected to return?

Hagebear

Have it on good report (from the man himself) Staker is aiming to be back Rd 4. So probably out for too long to start with. Will be a very handy downgrade target.

What forward rookies :-[

FU Buckley for not upgrading Dwyer

Jay

You got Macaffer?

Isn't much else after him :-[

Probably Neade and Lee are your best bets...

the captain

Joe Daniher - Not looking likely to play round 1, so probably keep away early.
Sam Mayes - Hasn't played a nab cup game to my knowledge, so unlikely to play, may come in later.
Jake Neade - Should play, worth getting with the lack of rookies.
Sam Dwyer - Rookie and didn't get upgraded, don't get him unless he gets upgraded later.
Tom Lee - Almost certain to play, but hasn't scored well, still probably worth getting.
Sam Kerridge - May get picked, if he does then wouldn't be a bad idea to pick him, but won't have great job security.
Brent Staker - Won't play until round 3 at least, keep off for the moment.
Matt Spangher - Not sure if he will play, and if he does he won't have good job security, but should score alright if he does play.
Other: Brent Macaffer- Rookie price and likely to play, probably the best choice.

Sam Rowe? Just because he is handy with ruck DPP to have as last fwd (F8)

Lee/Neade/Rowe...2 of the 3 will probably fill my fwd bench.

I'm a saints fan and I don't see the reason behind the hype around tom lee

Might be a good player down the track but similar to beau maister/wilkes last year (two years ago???)
Will be in and out of the team and hasn't scored well during nab cup

Instead I have maccaffer and rowe on my bench with varcoe and karnezis on the field

smashbox

Jake Stringer? ive heard the bulldogs have been impressed by him and may bring him in early

Are any of these blokes going to play round 1? Im not convinced on any of them

I'm a Saints man too and I agree with you.
Atm I've got Neade and Rowe on my fwd bench.Karnezis and Macaffer on the field.
Waiting on Blicavs to be elevated to fill R4...otherwise Rowe may be required in rucks set up.

ubeaut

There's sweet FA fwd rookies. Most are in mids as usual, followed by backs. Neade is the only one besides Macaffer who is even likely to get early games.

U have to adapt ur team structure to suit this problem.

So no varcoe?

surely GWS has someone hiding out somewhere

Lee although he didnt score well in the last NAB game he did look ok, i think he will improve with the more expeience he gets at AFL level. Only need someone to play first 5 or 6 rounds untill Staker plays two games. This is where i can see Neade bein a good pick up cause i can see him playing early up will fade away quickly due to his size. But the problem with picking him is that he will probably be a sub. I think Lee is oue best bet. Mature age and should get game game, couple of contested marks and a goal or 2 each week and he should score 50ish and 50 is about as good as we can hope for for a f8 this year unfortunately.
