my very reliable sources tell me rookie Mark Hutchings will be debuting for West Coast
due to Kerr and Sharrod out and a solid preseason

one to keep an eye on

eg6914

Will only play the first 2-4 games vest affected, i have also heard the same about Cripps starting, as an eagles supporter i would stay away can't see him getting much game time

Ricochet

Also no Rosa and Embley is a chance to miss.
Can see him getting quite a bit of time if all these mids take a while to come back

SydneyRox

Cripps I would have in my fantasy team, not so sure about Hutchings?

why not? a 108k mid who would continually rack up 25-30 touches for the falcons

Jukes

O'Meara, Wines, Crouch, Mitchell, Jones, Kommer, Blicavs, Viney all ahead of Hutchins for me.

Mr Craig Profile says "After spending a year on St Kilda's rookie list in 2010 Hutchings returned to his native Western Australia and went about becoming one of the more dominant players in the WAFL. He is a former Under 18's captain for W.A and this year the 21 year old won West Perth's B+F while also finishing second in the Sandover Medal behind Kane Mitchell. The ball magnet midfielder had several 30+ possession games in 2012, producing scores of 86, 134, 66, 112, 143, 144, 116, 95, 107, 80, 89, 102, 107, 128, 77, 109, 98, 61, 92 and 150 (Ave: 104.8).

At a weaker club Mark would almost be a lock but we'll have to wait and see how he performs during pre season to gauge if there's a chance of him getting games. You could expect a healthy average in the mid to high 70's should he play."

Am I right in assuming that Hutchins needs at least 3 games => possible $$$ - his BE is 21

If he managed 3 games @ say 60 it would be good but his JS is not great

Whiile WCE list Masten (quad -TBA) Kerr (rd 2) Wellingham (ankle - Rd 3) and Rosa (thigh -Rd 6) on injury list - the 1 st 3 should all be up and playing by Rd 3-4. He has to beat Hill to a spot too!

Suppose we are just going to have to wait until the R1 teams announced to see what rooks emerge with possible game time  :D

How are you rating Kommer's chances Jukes? Am thinking of him on the bench instead of Viney

Mr.Craig

The thing about someone in Hutchings' situation is that if he does get an opportunity and makes a genuine contribution then West Coast will find a way to keep him in the side. To be honest I'm still a bit skeptical about the likelihood of him being named and I think he's too risky to start with anyway. But if he hits the bubble with a bang then it'll be a different story...

Crawford has Cripps in his supercoach side

Let's just say that if he's named round one and not sub he's into my side.

Even be tempted to get him on the ground, I have liked the look of him

Kommer was a tagger in the Wafl. How's his scoring been in NAB?
