Rookie elevations confirmed

Just read on the AFL website that Goodes has indeed been elevated to the seniors list.

Petterd and Stephenson at the Tiges also got the nod. Meaning Lonergan missed out, not too surprised here.
Newman might figure into some SC teams off the back of the Petterd elevation... looks more likely now to nab that wing role  :D

Quite possibly but I think the move would be somewhat hasty. Dwyer may get a couple of early games but once Thomas, Fasolo, Krakouer and Ball are all fit (which, granted, may not happen at all), he will struggle to get games. There's no doubt that, given the lack of rookie options available in the forward line, Dwyer would present an attractive option but I can't see him playing enough games to make any decent amount of money.

Mitchell won't be today as its to replace Salter. LTI elevations can be done at any stage. Port have basically said they wont be doing it today.

Quite true. Although i think Ball is further away than first thought (he shouldnt be anyones team now). But Bucks has been hugely impressed with him and I think he is one for those who for team play. He might last long enough until Staker returns? Dunno. I hate this years forwards - between forwards and rucks i have no idea this year!

Ricco has done some great work in the DT section regarding Rookie elevations today. Its relevant here aswell so i'll post the link below. Heard the SC page is incorrect and Mitchell hasnt been elevated as yet.
