I have him. I think he has better JS then Armstrong and could average around 80-85. I think he has to be a lock

Everything I have seen has him locked in the pies back 6. They are pushing Harry O and Heater to the wings and letting Russell play along the back half. Considering he is 100k plus cheaper then Yaz, he is a good pick up.

As a Pies supporter he was a lock for me until recenty. I dont think he is a D3, a D4  or D5 at best. I decided for the extra rookie instead in the end & focus on the cash upgrade.

He'll get 10-14 games I reckon.

If I could find the extra cash, I'd upgrade Vlastuin to Russell and have him as D4.
I think Russell has heaps of talent and easily in the Pies best 22. He's very cheap and he knows how to find the footy, I reckon he's a good chcoie and I can see him averaging around 80 SuperCoach points  :o

I currently have Yarran at D4... How do the two compare?
If I move Yarran to Russell than I can also move Robinson to Zorko/Bartel or a Swallow to Danger. Worth it?

thanks for the feedback... would you say it is better to have him at d4 then have varcoe at f6??
this would allow me to start 2 backline rookies instead of 3...
however, it would make me start mcaffer at f6 instead of as emg.... and be forced to prob go with both neade and rowe on fwd bench!!
Thoughts??
