I've rated a lot of your teams and I would love some advice on my team.
Defiantly not my final side, but would like a second opinion on my side:


My backs are locked in and won't change.
I'm still not sure what the best structure for the midfield is, thinking about losing a premium (Murphy) to bring in Wines or Lucas.
Cox is only in my ruck line if Berger isn't fit and will go to my forward line if I pick Berger.
Not sure on my forward line, how many mid pricers to play. Rocky and Dusty are locks.
I think Byrnes, Knights and Karnezis are too many premiums, but I'm also thinking they can make some cash and I can say at round 8 downgrade Byrnes after he has made some cash and downgrade Karnezis/Knights to get Buddy.

Top effort Roo :)  fitting in 6 mid guns and two ruck guns is huge! Not at the expence of the other lines with the use of forward cheapies although risky, I see potential in the forward guns like Zorko and Walker but really can't fault anything, well done mate ;)

I think your forward line is too weak and it needs some upgrades. I think you have to go in with 3 keepers at least, and Martin is only a 50/50 to have the season people want him to have I think. Definitely look at downgrading a mid and getting that forward line looking in a bit better shape. Wines is probably a good player to bring in.

The ruck and defence look really good though, nice and solid and good rookies picked.

Solid defense mate. Unique pick in grimes. Think there better rookie options out there then vlastuin as I think he to expensive. Def rate 8.75/10
Mid- too strong would downgrade the likes of one of your premiums as 6 is too much. Most people are going 4 with a mid price player as the mids you have lots of rookie choices to make money mate. 8/10
Ruck- nice solid cant fault 10/10
Forward- your forward line looks too flowered and weak. Two Premiums is not enough and Martin 50/50 of playing good. 6/10
Overall 7/10

Only comment I would make Jroo is that you have gone very heavy on super prems which may pay of.  You are spending $4.5m of Salary cap on 7 players,  With 6 prems in mids think you are cutting down on rookie mids who will rise in cash further than other rookies.

I count 11 Prems excluding Grimes and Martin who I do not consider as prems as yet but may be this year.

Is it your intention to keep Jacobs and Cox as set and forget rucks.  If Not and for flexibility I would move Rowe to Forward emergency allowing you to move Cox forward in due course and get a prem ruck.

Only real risk I see with team is forwards with 4 midpricers/rookies required to play each week. may be risky as not all have JS.

I would love to put Berger in, but I'm not sure if he will play round one, but if he does yeah I'll put him in and Cox goes up forward. I'm not 100% sold on Knights, Byrnes and Dwyer myself, but as you said plenty of time!

I reckon Robbo will improve even more under Mick.
My first upgrade would be a ruckmen and my aim would be to move Cox fwd and Broughton down back

I'd ditch Knights, don't think he'll have that much of an impact this year to be honest, don't think he'll make the 22 every other week --> more of a rotating player to plug holes when needed
