No Goddard? Is this crazy?

G'day fellas, I am currently toying with the idea of going without Goddard  ???, personally I feel the 3 premo/3 rookie approach is best for the defence & I feel there are a lot of breakout candidates in the 450-500k range.
What are your thoughts on this defence:

Gibbs, Hanley, Heppell, Goodes, Stevenson, Terlich (Pittard, Docherty)

I feel I can't ignore these three premiums as they are all set for big years, Goddard would likely be my first upgrade target.
Thoughts?

Haven't really considered starting without Goddard to be honest. If he kills it early, he's already the most expensive defender and would be difficult to bring in via a cheeky sideways trade.

IMO, this is probably not the season to ignore Goddard.  Goddard is a "sure thing" to improve, where Hanley/Heppell are more "likely" to improve.
