Yeah, didn't even realise no Nic Nat. Surely he won't play forward all that much then. I guess he's staying in my team.

Yeah, I'am actually tempted to downgrade Cox to the next best performing ruck or fwd when NicNat comes back. Hopefully Leuy will be back to full fitness by then and belting out the 90s as well ;)

I reckon the game plan will be to have him in while NicNat is out, hopefully letting him rack up the points for the time being but then maybe downgrade him to another good ruck (or forward) when Nat is back... All depends on how Coxy is looking I guess!

I'm really looking for reasons not to start him or Maric though, would make life so much easier to downgrade one to McEvoy! ::)

I'm wanting to turn Crouch and Dwyer into Wines and Macaffer. This means I need to make about $80k...
I was thinking I'd turn one of Cotchin, Pendles, Deledio into Danger and/or Fyfe.
Also thinking of ditching Bartel for someone cheaper.
Thoughts?

I'd certainly look at turning Bartel into Dusty, should be able to get a bit of cash in hand there. And then would consider one of Cotchin/Deledio to Danger, or even Petterd -> Patton (play Caf at F6) if you still need more! :)

Not a chance I'm playing Caf on the field...
Right now I've done Pendles to Fyfe (Richmond fandom is causing me to choose Pendles as first to go) which has already given me enough cash to bring in both those guys.

Does anyone know why Bartel's appearing in so few teams?

Yeah I'm really struggling with the whole Richmond fandom thing, really want both Cotch & Lids but I know I can't drop Pendles :-X

I think people are hesitant with Bartel because he is getting older and his average has been on a downward spiral for the past couple of seasons.

Narrowed it down to three choices...
CHOICE 1

I like this one because I get to keep Cotch, Pendles, and Deledio but it means I lose out on a strong ruckline and I have Lecca over Buddy.

CHOICE 2

Note that I can change Cotch or Lids to Pendles but I can't decide between them. This one gives me a solid ruckline but hurts my mids by losing one of Cotch, Lids, or Pendles.

CHOICE 3

Again, this one has its pros and cons. I only get two of Cotch, Lids, or Pendles and I still have weak rucks. Franklin can be replaced by Bartel (and probably will be).

Opinions would be awesome!

Option 2 I think. IMO a mid priced foward such as pettard/Karnezis/Byrnes etc will score better then the mid priced rucks so I like having the two solid ruck options and the extra mid priced option up foward

Maybe Bartel over Lance?

Jimmy has been carving up the pre-season and he loves playing the Hawks, he will play pure mid with no Stevie J you'd think. ???

If I want Bartel, I have to go option 3... But I probably would go Jimmy over Buddy. So hard!

How much of a must have is Wines? If I change Wines to M. Jones and Macaffer to someone under $108,100, I can afford to keep the three mids and Bartel.
Are there any options?

but IMO I'd go Deledio --> Watson
