Can I ask what makes you pick Petterd?  He would fit my team well since i have lost all faith in varcoe and byrnes.

Big things expected of Belly so don't mind that pick but worry about your ruck #2 - still he is worth what burger is so at least when he goes out and burger comes in you can do the same and the rucks will look a lot better for you then.

brisbane have a good early draw longer/luenberger is not a bad option just make sure you start the right one and trade the right week when burger takes over.

you will lose points maybe while they share duties until burger is fully fit - a risk...

I really like Petterd at the moment; Richmond obviously picked him up for a reason and he proved to them that he can actually play. He's just been upgraded, which should see Newman securing his spot off the wing (85+ anyone?). Did I mention that Petterd has averaged 74 and 76 before over 22 games? And that was for Melbourne - Richmond is the highest scoring DT club; don't be surprised if he averages 80.

However, there are some definite risks... he may cop the red vest (think Ellis/Morris last year), but at least if he cops the Green one, we'll know as it's the Thursday night game. Unfortunately, the money I'll receive for downgrading him, I won't be able to use to pick up any Essendon/Adelaide/Freo/WCE players :-\ :(

^my plan for that e2 is if Petterd gets handed the green vest, I will switch coxy into the rucks, effectively subbing out Longer for Petterd. If he DOES get the green, Longer stays! ;)

thanks, haven't heard much of anything about how he is going or where he fits in if at all to the tiges line up. Liked the look of him at the DEES makes a great option for a solid (but average scoring) varcoe, and byrnes who has failed to convince anyone of anything also.

Just go into every p&t topic that mentions midfield premiums. You'll see. Won't average 115+.

Pre-season matters with every player. Murphy has not played good nor scored good.

I'd get Daw in over Witts. One of Daw and Currie will play every week, often at the same time.

Having many of the same team in the same position isn't bad as long as they're good selections. Karnezis should average 80+ for sure...averaged 124 points per 100 minutes in the first three weeks in the NAB cup then got 81 in three quarters before being subbed off in the final. Lock him in.

I don't know why but every time you say something about Ablett I have a string urge to boo you (looks like many others do as well) there is no logic in your explanation at all, forget DT and compare Stanton to Ablett, but you can't, Stantons outside game is laughable compared to Ablett's but Ablett can play a lot more than being just a seagull.

Apparently (i.e. according to my quick research), Cox played forward both games against Freo last year and scored poorly. This is making me contemplate taking him out and replacing him with either Martin or Robinson. This means I can afford to bring Wines back in.

TBH, I think Cox is getting talked up a lot. A solid pre-season from the main man. But nothing that has caught the eye.  :-\
