Game Day Board

How would the idea of having a Game Day Board? Like people can post about how their team is going etc on the day. We can post our live scores. And then back when lockout is out, everyone would go back to the 'Players and Trades' board and discuss future trades etc.

I think having a match day or weekend board would be helpful and would separate the advice threads and the discussion threads.

Thoughts?

Better than having all these threads what is in the 'Players and Trades' board. Pretty much once it's lockout on DT, there shouldn't be another until an injury or when lockout is completed.

Good idea lez. :D It would be nice to stop the P&T thread from posts, and this is a good way to do that.

I was also thinking a board, which runs off the DT and SC boards, for the draft leagues. I know now the season is almost underway it'll only be should i drop a for b or who do i play this week between c and d, but it'll be good for the off season. :)

I think all rounds in one board.

It may be an effort, but somehow it gets locked for mid week and unlocked Friday Arvo (or Thursday)

yeah just can see DT coaches (just an example) cursing a low scoring tap ruckman when in SC he ends up scoring 95 instead of his DT 42  :)

think venting and commenting on players throughout games is a common theme but given the significant different scoring systems it could get very confusing and contradictory having DT and SC coaches commenting in the same place?

I'm sorry, I made the suggestion and thought it was sort of a given maybe...

maybe a given but getting one new board from Monty is a challenge 2 more so :)

Tonight would of been a good time for this Board.

Most of the 'Players and Trades' topics are on the nights game.

but if you were to do that you would have to lock all the boards and have the one board open
from the start of the game in the East and you wouldn't be able to close it until after 2am WST

(the game yesterday was on channel 7 at something like 11pm)

Yes 7 Mate has it live but you would have to accommodate for the final broadcast of the round to keep it open
until after its completion.
