David Hale got reported yesterday for a forceful high contact into Adams' head.

Saw the vision,was unintentional, but it was a huge impact...Not sure if it was a clash of heads or Hale's shoulder blade into Adams' head...

IF he does get rubbed out, surely Max Bailey comes into replace him?

At $216,000 he could be worth a look in over Longer (maybe) until Berger is back..... :-\

Hopefully a 2-3 game ban so Bails can grab a price hike and we make 100k when we swap to luey :)

What do people expect Longer to average over the first few rounds? If he averages 10pts a game more over the first 3 rounds will that equal a greater money rise than Max?
While I love the big Max he really only scores through hit outs and rarely gets a heap of marks, goals or disposals. I can't see him scoring that well, especially as he takes on Geelong, West coast and then Collingwood in the first three rounds. It also doesn't get much better after that...
I'd also be worried about Grimley coming in for Hale instead of Max.

I was all set to say that you'd be crazy to pick Bailey ahead of Longer but Maxy did better than I thought in the VFL last year (when he managed to get on the park). 80, 78, 95 and 61.

All the same I'd rather go with Longer or Smith as a mid priced ruck.

Agree with Rico, Bailey has never been a great scorer and is cheaper than Leuy so the added pressure of keeping 20k around is there too.

RoughCox imo is a much more viable combo now though!
