Unsure on my D3, tossing up between Hanley, Hartlett, and the Duffman atm.

Rookies will be finalised once R1 teams are announced.

SJ in side because I'm going for league, not overall.

Not sure on Buddy, he could become Zorko or Pavlich.

Also considering putting Cox in the ruck instead of Bellchambers, and then getting one of Robbo, Martin, or anyone else that I might be able to afford. Just an idea though.

Please criticise  :P All comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

Backs: I prefer Hartlett over Hanley for D3. I also haven't been impressed with Docherty's SC form so far this preseason.

Mids: look fine, though you may be a super premium short of other teams.

Rucks: I'm not sold on Goldstein, he hasn't shown great form so far, but if he gets it together, he could be a steal.  I thi k this is the line to take the risks on as I don't know that there are any standout locks this year who are fit with the exception of Maric who is a little pricey and Cox who I think is a better pick in the forward line.

Forward line.  Looks okay.  Fairly similar to mine.

I'd go Hartlett but there's nothing wrong with Hanley either. I'm not sold on goldy either there's better picks for that money. Steve j won't make a massive impact this season when he does come back I don't think but if you need to have him in your team maybe leave him out till round 5 when geelongs draw gets easier in the mean time get someone who will earn you a bit of money like Jetta (Sydney start off with an easy draw)

Yeah, like I mentioned before, rookies aren't all locked in just yet. Docherty probably won't be on the field, even if he is named R1.

The way I look at my mids, I see 3 guys going 120+, and 2 going 110+

As long as he stays uninjured, I think Goldy should do ok. And if not, my plan is to bring in NicNat at some stage anyway, hence why I have no Maric or Jacobs.

Thanks for the comments, cheers.

Yeah, I orginally had Hartlett, only recently changed to Hanley. D3 has been doing my head in during the last 2 weeks.
SJ is going to get a lot more midfield time, which is why I think he'll do so well, and I don't want to waste 1 or 2 trades bringing him in in the first few rounds. Unless you think someone around his price will average more.

j

Yeah Jetta will. And we have a lot more trades this season so you can burn some according to the draw

Backs: Replace Docherty with Campbell Heath as i can't see Docherty scoring highly will be surprised if he is in the Lions 22.
Mids: Strong With Mundy who expecting big things an excellent pick at M5.
Rucks: Good choice in Bellchambers
Fwds: No Problems here if your happy with Stevie J go for it.

Overall Strong team should be very competitive 8.5/10

Thanks, actually replaced Docherty with L Brown about 20 mins ago. Do you think he would be a better option than Heath or not?
