What do you people think about Joey....had some big pre season scores and looking good...

Is he worth a shot this year?

sheperd

Yeah, scoring well. But i'm pretty sure he might be suspended for round 1

Been on a gradual slide for the past 4 years and the saints arent looking liike getting any better. I would avoid

Marstar

Suspended round 1.

Unless he gets his old role back that saw him getting 120+ he's not likely to improve enough to warrant a spot.

Which role was that? Standing on the outside of packs like a seagull haha pretty sure he still plays that one they just arent as good at getting it out to him anymore

Which means he's not longer a seagull :D He has to hunt his own ball for the extra 15ppg required to lock him in :P

i think it's harsh for people to call him a seagull. any Saints fan would know that he can, and does if he needs to, go in and get the hard ball. now when you have guys like Lenny, Armitage and Luke Ball back in the day who are great at getting the ball out, it would be stupid of Montagna not to be there to receive the handball and then use his kicking skills.

Montagna is not afraid to get down and dirty and put his head over the ball.

having said that, i won't be picking him up this year. too many other good options. that's not to say he won't score well though

Don't stress we're just having fun. Mont is a gun. We know he's been doing the dirty work for the last few seasons which is why he's not getting those extra SC points.
