Okay, so this will apply to you if you have a gun bench, which in my case is Leuenberger, D.Swallow, Mundy and Ziebell. ( MID is Watson, A.Swallow, Jack, Ward, Gaff & Steven :) ) What I was thinking of doing was downgrading my worst DEF, (Yarran) to a spud that never plays (89k), so that one of my bench players will automatically fill in. So hypothetically, you have an extra Midfielder!

Negative side:
- 1 other player in your squad is a late exclusion, so you cop a donut.
- Your bench player gets injured and scores 2

Once you start copping injuries etc during the season, youll miss having Yarran instead of some spud... it will work initially but it will be like running out of trades late in the season

nicely spotted but thats only if your league has automatic subs and even then you get the lowest scoring bench player.

So your draft team will end up having 4 players (3 on bench, 1 starting) that dont play every week, which is a bit silly to me

Football Factory and I have discussed this previously. Theoretically you could trade out your entire team to non-players except for your best midfielder who you bench. Then you would get that player's score for your entire team. Plus, you'd look like a complete knob and everyone in the league would hate you.

I'm pretty sure that the auto emergency is only allocated once for one 0.

That's what we thought but FF contacted VS and they told him the lowest score on the bench would be applied to all non playing positions.

That's what we've been led to believe.

It looks like I might have two players out in Round 1 so I'll see what happens with the emergencies.

Even at this early stage, it's fair to say that Fantasy Elite 2013 needs tweaking before the release of its next version. The trading system is also flawed.

If it was an Overall competition I'd certainly use the loophole, but since it's against my mates... ill still use it ;) haha nah, I'll be fair and try to win keeping inside the walls of the rules
