Well after a week Round 1 comes to an end.  A couple of close matches that total points separated them.
6 Home teams winning as well

Scores have been adjusted due to incorrect application of Home ground advantage  apologies but score had been tripled not doubled. Only one game result changed and the Hedgehogs now lose to the Hurricanes by 1 point.

Bradford Badgers 28.11.179 defeated Swindon Swaggers 22.17.149
No late changes
Bradford really enjoyed the home ground advantage and gets their season off to a flying start. Early favourites for the cup.

Great effort by the Hoods who are eagerly awaiting their new coach this week.

Very close game with Hedgehogs home ground advantage almost getting them over the line.

Newcastle Falcons 27.8.170 defeated Bilston Bunnies 18.12.120

Falcons: Nick Kommer and Taylor Hunt replace Christian Howard and Brian Lake. Both playing out of position so half points apply here.
Bunnies: Clay Smith replaces Dayne Beams and Will Hoskin Elliott comes in for Joel Corey at 1/4 points as no emergencies available.
New bunnies coach Sydney Rox has entered to a Baptism of fire.  Cause was not helped with the late withdrawal of captain Dayne Beams.
With couple of players playing out of position the Falcons are eagerly awaiting this weeks clash with the Badgers.

Cruisers: too many changes to mention due to 6 players not playing and players being brought from list at quarter points. Result may have been closer if coach had updated list with players brought in.

Strong Game from Captain Josh Kennedy enabled the Hawks to see of the magic.

Winchester Warewolves 22.13,145 defeated Liverpool Lobsters 19.10.124

Lobsters: James Polkinghorne brought in from Team List to complete Team. 1/4 points to apply
Warewolves: Brad Shepphard replaced Sam Fisher
Despite a substandrad game from Captain Dayne Zorko Warewolves were able to win this one comfortably.

Warewolves Bryce Gibbs, Matt Priddis, Ben Cunnington, Nathan Fyfe.
Lobsters: Adam Treloar, Todd Goldstein, Shaun Grigg and Dyson Heppell.

Some great first round games and a couple of one sided ones as well which placed Leeds at top of the table on percentage..

Coaches who did not update teams following first lock out really disadvantaged their teams in that players had to be brought in from your priority list at quarter points.

Awards Board has been updated as well

If any disagreement with scores please PM me with query and I will sort out with you.  Whilst excel is good there can vagaries at time which go undetected.

Lockout for Round 2 is at Bounce on Friday night and thread for Round 2 is now up.

Yes Ele Home ground advantage and 20 points got you through although MTTY also had the 20 points basis.

Disappointing loss by the Magic.  :-\ But the Hawks are very good and should be right in it for top 4.

great work Ringo, cannot believe the Werewolves scraped in for a win, Ball and Grey and the sidelines and really struggles to get 15 scoring players on the park, decoy dawes out again this week it will be another challange to name 15 who play...
