how is the midfield shaping up for this season.
the alleged 'changing of the guard' kind of happened last season, but goodwin & edwards still pulled in plenty of points despite a bit less time in the guts proper.
don't need to mention names if they're your secret smokies, but is it realistic to expect 1 or 2 of their younger but experience midfielders to end up costing more like $550k next season.

also, what's the latest on dangerfield - thought i heard he had a solid hitout v box hill on the w/e?
