This has been the most contested spot in my team.....it changes almost everyday :P

At the moment my forward line looks like this:

Buddy, Cox, ......., Rocky, Karnezis, Macaffer (Daniher, Neade)

Going for league win, not overall :)

Who should get the spot?

Zorko did look good last night

But are we all just caught up in the hype??

And is 3 brisbane forwards too much?

quinny88

Everyone will vote Zorko because he just played a good game. If Adelaide had of played last and Tex kicked 6 then everyone would vote him. So in other words just go with your gut. The voting wont be accurate anyway

Very good point Quinny, only problem is my gut doesn't know :P

Does anyone know if SJ is expected to play mainly midfield?

Degsman

varcoe or byrnes
Call me crazy, but I'd prefer one of Pav, SJ, Zorko, etc as opposed to Varcoe or Byrnes.

tbagrocks

Taylor Walker will ave the highest here

That's a good sign :) but if i am just going for league that wouldn't be too bad

of the ones listed stevie j with zorko 2nd then close call between the 2 ruckmen, then the inconsistent bartel & i dont rate the other 2 at all(pavlich has a lifetime suspension from any fantasy team i compile)in comparison to the first 5,im just not on board with the stacked forward line theory hence the varcoe/byrnes off the cuff suggestion, for me its rocky then 7 guys under 300k & sure up the other lines while holding on for dear life up forward. Its  better to have the consistent gaj swan pendles types mixed in with the erratic jjk/varcoe/macaffer/karnezis than having the erratic buddy/bartel etc mixed in with equally erratic & often rested rookie mids

You can pack your forward line and still have a good midfield. I've gone for consistency in the mids with ablett, pendles, jpk, and priddis (plus mundy as m5). And then in the forwards Cox, Rocky, Buddy, Zorko and Karnezis as a mid-pricer.
So if you have the cash to get a premium who will be top 6 or so in their respective position by years end, you may as well take the points from the start.

zorko shows no signs of 2nd year blues... had a great preseason, plenty of touches and more goals to come this year.
Tex. BEAST. nothing to add.

i've got both coz Cox is in the ruck.
