Brown > Laird
Dwyer > Daisy/Stevie J?

the week after you could go Wines > Lonergan and Stevenson > back premo?

not too soon to cull Wines but too soon to cut O'Meara, is still consistently scoring well

Thanks felsty. I got the spreadsheets out and worked out that if I don't double downgrade this week, I end up with daisy instead of jobe. So its Blicavs >Hannath, Brown >Laird

Carn

So the plan was:
Mayes > Staker
Dwyer > Nic Nat

Which would leave my team for R10:
Goddard Hartlett Heppel Goodes Vlastuin Terlich (Laird, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Mundy Priddis O'mera (Crouch, Lonegan)
Jacobs Leuy (Blicavs, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Cox Rocky Bartel JJK (McCaffer, Staker)

But now I have Terlich, Lonegan, Jacobs & Leuy problems. Should I still go ahead with my upgrades?

Ringo

Wait for final teams to be announced but I would go ahead with trades.

You can cover Berger if out by Blicavs or movinng Cox or Nat to ruck via DPP.
Laird or Thurlow can cover Terlich but need to review this situation if injury is long term and same with Lonergan. But you can hold if Crouch plays.

So the plan is:
Dwyer > nicnat
Lonegan > Mitchell

Which gives me:
Goddard Hartlett Heppel Goodes Vlastuin Terlich (Laird, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Mundy Priddis O'mera (Crouch, Mitchel)
Jacobs Cox (Hannath, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Rocky Bartel Stevie J JJK (McCaffer, Staker)

Then O'Mera > Cotchin
Terlich > Birchal
Next week.

Goddard Hartlett Heppel Goodes Vlastuin Birchal (Laird, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Mundy Priddis Cotchin (Crouch, Mitchel)
Jacobs Cox (Hannath, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Rocky Bartel Stevie J JJK (McCaffer, Staker)

You like?

Ringo

Looks Good

Depending on trades you have left and with Hannath spudding it up would be tempted to go Hannath or Rowe to Nicholls and free up some cash as well.

Being picky would probably only have one of Mundy ir Priddis but you may have option to upgrade one.

Agree. I will have 11 trades after the above. Thought about Nicholls but with dixon back in might be a dud pick. Do you think Nicholls JS will be ok?

Your right about Mundy or Priddis. They are not quite ultra-premos and might need to be upgraded but started with mundy and priddis was so cheap.

Ringo

Nicholls JS imo will basically depend on how Suns use Bock when he returns. I can see them going with Dixon/Nicholls until then,

Took your advice and got Nicholls but his score was trapped on the bench.
This weeks team looks like this:

Goddard Hartlett Heppel Birchall Goodes Vlastuin (Laird, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Cotchin Mundy Priddis (Crouch, Martin)
Jacobs Cox (Nicholls, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Bartel S.Johnson Rocky JJK (McCaffer, Staker)
Should get me through the byes with Crouch>Mitchell next week,

I got cotchin in for O'mera this week but think I need a POD to go up the rankings, Any suggestions?

Ringo

I went O'Meara to Griffen as he atm is only owned by just over 1% of teams.  Expecting that to rise this week though. Other options for POD to consider Andrew Swallow, Barlow and Jack. Douglas from Adelaide is also showing some form but has the round 13 bye.

Carn

I think we should stop talking about griffen.
This week:
Goddard Hartlett Heppel Birchall Goodes Vlastuin (Laird, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Griffen Mundy Priddis (Mitchell, Martin)
Jacobs Cox (Nicholls, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Bartel S.Johnson Rocky JJK (McCaffer, Staker)

Next week:
Goddard Hartlett Heppel Birchall Gibbs Vlastuin (Goodes, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Griffen Mundy Cotchin (Mitchell, Martin)
Jacobs Cox (Nicholls, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Bartel S.Johnson Rocky Dusty (Hitchcock, Staker)

Leaves me with 6 trades but happy with backups on all lines.
What do you think?

Ringo

Nice Team finished and with 6 trades left for emergencies and finals.

Thanks ringo
Weak points: Mundy? Jacobs? No hanley. No selwood. No goldy. No walker.
Sitting around 500 not sure I have enough POD to rise to the highest level but it has been a decent year.

Carn

Which side looks better?

Goddard Hartlett Heppel Birchall Gibbs Vlastuin (Goodes, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Griffen Mundy Cotchin (Mitchell, Martin)
Jacobs Cox (Nicholls, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Bartel S.Johnson Rocky JJK (Daniher, Staker)

or

Goddard Hartlett Heppel Birchall Vlastuin Goodes (Laird, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Griffen Danger Mundy(Mitchell, Martin)
Goldstien Cox (Nicholls, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Bartel S.Johnson Rocky JJK (Daniher, Staker)

The first one means rolling with jacobs. He is avg.80 goldy avg 113 that is 33pts a week!
The second one means rolling with goodes and vlas in def for the year.

I am open to other suggestions?

Ringo

You need to look at the other side as well

Gibbs is averaging 105 compared with Both Vlas and Goodes around 91. So effectively net loss 20 points per week. Burning question though is will Jacobs rediscover some form as Adelaide try to lift. Will he average 90 - 100 from here on in. If so then option 1.  If not option 2.

Go with gut feel on this.

Carn

I have seen nothing to suggest that Jacob's will get to 90-100. He is not getting the pos's round the ground so ever week i need him to get 50+ hit outs which is a big ask. If I started with goldstein would be in the top 50... grrrr...

I agree with vlas and goodes 90avg. and gibbs is a lock but i am finding it hard to get him in. JJK is also somone I would love to get out before the WC tough run.

I guess I could roll with the a Mundy/Priddis mid and go vlas > gibbs, Jacobs > Goldstein:

Goddard Hartlett Heppel Birchall Gibbs Goodes (Laird, Thurlow)
Ablett Pendles Watson Swan JPK Griffen Mundy Priddis (Mitchell, Martin)
Goldstien Cox (Nicholls, Rowe)
NicNat Buddy Bartel S.Johnson Rocky JJK (Daniher, Staker)

Just feels a bit week in the middle.
