Max Bailey job security

With Luey's injury & Goldy creating some pre-season doubts my thoughts turned to Bailey as a possible cheap R2.

However surprisingly I've heard his job security is not high. With Roughy doing pre-season at CHB & Hale only likely to be a part time ruck, I thought he would be a lock for Hawthorn. But adding Buddy, Gunston, Lake, Shoey & Gibson, they could be top heavy.

What do people think about Monsieur Bailey's job security?

I would expect him to play if fit.

Despite all his history (which is a huge risk), he's currently fit & available.

He is an interesting one. Hawthorn always play him generally if he is fit so that must think a lot of him. Is worth considering IMO, if he can stay on the park for 7 or 8 rounds I suspect he could average 75.
